  • Hashimoto's is an auto immune disorder. This presentation is describing hypothyroidism. It is true that Hashimoto's thyroiditis can cause hypo thyroidism but taking iodine can do serious damage to a person with auto immune thyroiditis. You can't treat them the same.

  • @sripriya0917 I hope you get this you need to use a vit D3 the ones that the Dr give you that is 50,000 is Vitamin D2 useless So research D3 and even adding some K2 with it will keep your calcium in your bones where it belongs and not in your arteries.. Please all reseach this for GREAT HEALTH WISH THE doctors gving out the D2 knew better, they only know what the dang sales reps tell them, so sad, too, if I didnt take control of my own health via research on the internet I would still be in bed

  • what food i need to avoid to get my thyroid peroxidase ab level to normal and which food is good. this means i am hashimoto thyroiditis patient. can i be normal again.i am using synthroid 75mcg and prednisone 10mg meds to reduce my inflammation of the thyroid gland.

Also I use Low Dose Naltrexone for my autoimmune issues, I ended up with Fibro and Hashimotos all since the Dr in my 20-25 years long health issues didnt address my thyroid issues when they could have

  • hello dr,recently i had a myomectomy surgery to remove a fibroid from the uterus.after the surgery my pulse rate was high then doctor find out that my thyroid levels are abnormal.i the time of surgery my thyroid levels are ft3 5.8 ft4 3.59 and tsh is 0.01.after one month later my thyroid levels are my ft3 2.5 ft4 0.94 tsh 7.96 and my thyroid peroxidase ab is >600 what does this mean. can i get pregnant with this thyroid levels and how do i control my thyroid peroxidase to normal range.
