People: YM@6 wrote this song, similar to Airplanes in their opinion, as a joke when they were drunk. The label thought it was the best song they'd written, so they got Chiddy in to record it, filmed a video and released it. Afterwards, Josh felt sold out, they didn't intend to actually release it.

But anyways, this song is still amazing, despite it being more mainstream, and I have no bloody clue why anybody is hating on it.
