I am talking about the Zito who pitch over 200 innings from 01 - 06. The Zito who didn't post three consecutive losing records. 09 was his best year in S.F. and I think he'll get better. He hasn't been injured, I think it's all mental with him.

I would love to pick the Phillies, I think they are the most well rounded team in the NL, but I am going to go for the upset. I don't like LA, they had two years to get the best of them and they didn't get it done.

I am smelling a Red Sox vs Giants W.S. Yes, the San Francisco Giants will go to the world series. I know that every single person is laughing about it. Traditionally, sporting championships usually has the underdog make it all the way to the finials. Even though the Phillies fell two games shy of owning the best record in the NL, I felt that they were the best team. Look at the 07 Rockies, 03 Marlins, etc, etc.

But, I think Zito needs to have solid year for that to happen, and I think he will.

Why do so many people like the Angels to repeat in 2010. They already lost 2 key players and even if Vlad does come back, I think the absence of Lackey and Figgins will hurt them down the stretch. I think the west will come down to the Mariners and Rangers. As depressing as it is, I think the Yanks will win the W.S. again. During the 2010 offseason they will get either Webb, Beckett, or Lee. It's pretty much inevitable and they'll probably add another big bat as well-- Crawford or Mauer.
