You have to realize not ALL American films are terrible. Just lately, August Rush came out, which was incredible and moving. We also came up with Titanic, The Godfather, Casablanca, Fight Club, Forrest Gump, and Jaws, just to name a few blockbusters. Numerous independent films never made it big, but were spectacular, too, like Sex, Lies, and Videotapes, Clerks, Stranger Than Paradise, and Drugstore Cowboy. We're not all McDonalds-grubbing, lazy-ass, rich semi-schizos.
