The turkish empires Seljuks and Ottomans prefered different languages because of being in islam. Generally ottomans prefered arabic,persian with turkish and created ottoman language. The philosophers like Mevlana always use persian because of Phonetic style. But this doesnt mean Mevlana is persian.
