There are always some negitive for dark skin females, from the media, family, friends! Yet we don't need to bake in the sun for cancer, (brown all year round, all the way down!) have you heard of the covergirl Queen bronzers ? i just found out that there is a huge rave about them because they are perfect for women of color . sadly drugstores dont sell them anymore (i guess they didnt sell) so you have to look for them online . I just ordered mine and im supper excited .

I hope your new oil control method is working out for you. But I hope you don't mind if I make a suggestion. Oil cleansing with first pressed grape seed oil has made significant changes in my skin. I do this everyday when I get home and follow up with Dr. Woods Tea Tree soap then I moisturize with a small drop of the grape seed oil. This process has totally changed my oily/combo skin to a smooth beautiful complexion and I see acne scars fading. You're so pretty so I figure why not have it all.

Don't laugh... but the first time I contoured, I used some brown EYEBROW powder that I had! Now I just use a matte bronzer that is slightly darker than my skin tone. The composition is not that different actually. Heehee. Anyway, thanks for sharing your tips doll, this was very helpful :)

@mzkmonet Well this is just an optional effect if you want your cheekbones and just your makeup overall to really stand out. you don't have to do it though, you can always just wear blush

Great Video... I am an NW45 as well, but I find that blunt just wasnt dark enough for the contour.. so I purchased the cremestick in NW55 and I love the effect.. I use NC40 for the highlight with a lil Honour on top... contouring and highlighting is so much fun.. thanx for sharing..

i've a question..I am NC35...I've seen people of my skin tone contour with shades as dark as NC50, on the other hand, some of them use powders like blunt.

I went to MAC the other day and purchased a bronzing powder in Terra as they did not have Blunt. I tried and played with it...but, i did not really see much of a difference...do you suggest I go back & purchase one of the studio sticks in NC50-55? thank you :)

i love your videos:) im from south africa and most of the products you use aren't available here, we have mac but its RIDICULOUSLY expensive, would love to ask you though does it make a difference which products you use? does mac stay on longer or give you a flawless finish? if so then maybe i should just invest in a few of their products thanx:)

@sandramphiri I have heard that MAC is a lot more expensive in foreign countries, I can't imagine why but that is unfortunate :( I wouldn't really be able to recommend you a lot of other brands because 99% of my makeup is from MAC honestly and I don't know of any other alternatives that I've personally used that I'd feel comfortable recommending. Honestly, the quality of makeup does make a difference though, why don't you try your hand at the local drug store products just to start?

I also have very oily skin and use MAC NW45..

I currently have MAC's refined deeper bronze but the shimmer probably isn't a good choice since my skin is naturally very oily..

What do you use or suggest that I do? I like the coloring of the bronzer but not the shimmer.

I recently bought: MAC Raizin blush and I love it :-)

@msanjoseph contouring isn't a necessity everyday if you don't want it to be! I usually contour when I really wanna look good, night on the town with the girls, or even when you're taking a professional photo it really makes your bone structure stand out. as for day to day wear, I just wear blush and maybe a highlight :)
