Barack Obama is the face of our true nation. Let's restore our standing in the world, let's unite, let's give up divisive politics. Let's Vote Obama '08.
The negative commentary surrounding Barack Obama's messages of HOPE and CHANGE are perpetuated by fear. US founding father, John Adams said in 1776, "Fear is the foundation of most governments; but it is so sordid and brutal a passion, and renders men in whose breasts it predominates so stupid and miserable, that Americans will not be likely to approve of any political institution which is founded on it". Vote Barack Obama in 2008.
If you think Obama's and his supporters' message is "utopian" and "unrealistic"... Here is a reality check... Every national poll says Obama will beat McCain in a general election, and that Hillary will lose to McCain in a general election. So if you support Hillary (or you are a McCain operative pretending to) - understand that at this point, a vote for Hillary is a vote for McCain. And if you support McCain - understand, according to all polls, you've lost. Looks like utopia IS reality.

I think Obama would excellent to take over the great job like George Bush has done. Obama has a lot of great similarities that George Bush has and we do not wan't to go back to the dark days of the 90's when Bill Clinton was in. I wan't to keep a like George Bush guy and Barack Obama is that guy Thank You.
Hillary's entire campaign is teetering and lost, and she is lashing out at the character and experience of Barack Obama, because she has nothing left to do. This is the man that can Lead our Fine Country back into something better than what we have. The U.S. has become a country of apathy and payoffs, and it is time to reignite the fires of our forefathers for democracy and good morals. Our societal values in this country must be restored.
I feel that Hillary made a big mistake by letting her husband get involved with her campaign. She supported Bush for the war in Iraq, and she was very arrogant and cocky coming into the presidential race. Lets hope Obama wins Texas and Ohio!
Screw experience Hilary, we don't want it. Experience is overrated. We want someone sincere, someone who has ideas, and someone who will be honest with us. Hilary is like a worn out shoe, Barack is new and fresh. Bring it on! Barack for '08!
Further, a very first woman president of USA certainly carries positive image to influence women of the whole world, even in Muslin countries! So people, do you think that such a capable woman, with tremendous responsibilies on her shoulder as our President, with the eyes of women around world, could she, Hillary, fail us as the Woman President of The United States of American for what history would be recorded?
I know she will do her best for all of us, to prove she'll be an excellent CEO!!!

He's a better candidate than Bill Clinton was in '92. The Republicans will try the same divide and conquer tactics we've seen from Karl Rove. Ironically, Mark Penn found that this candidate can not be beaten that way.

Clinton supporters are still wining about biased press in favor of Obama. Yet I have seen much headlines about Clinton and how well she did in the debate and little about Obama and his closing remarks. I did not watch it, so rely on You Tube replays and news articles.
If you look at Obama's rapid improvement in the 19 presidential debates, it is very noteworthy. He has become more magnanimous, calm under pressure, and even, in this final debate, took the high road with several different issues where he could have been very divisive (two exaples would be how he gently diffused both the "turban picture mailer" issue & the clip of Mrs. Clinton openly mocking him). It showed class, grace, inclusiveness, & presidential stature. He completely outshined Clinton.
Interesting... it looks like the filtering of comments on this site is being taken much further than I would have expected. I thought Obama's campaign was founded on the principles of transparency and openness and that the filtering of comments here only extended to hate speech. Thus, I am quite surprised that the comment I made on this video last night appears to have been filtered out.
no, it's not gone. i just saw it, it hasn't been deleted. youtube comments are a bit odd they disappear and reappear at random, or at least i find that.
She used to smile at him as he talked, but that was before he started winning. I guess the new strategy now is to be tough and aggressive. How many 180 degree transformations has she made this election? I guess she's still "finding herself", i.e. figuring out how to better manipulate the voters.
A great debate but through out the debate i found Senator Obama on Higher Ground. He was strong and in control, i think Senator Clinton's needless involvement in the Nation of Islam Question was her losing point.
Both of them r gre8 candidates but i do believe now tht Obama is more stronger when it comes to winning in General Elections.
His position on Iraq, Health care, Economy & most importantly Foreign Relations makes a lot of sense and shows a sense of leadership we need.
I tend to agree, but on experience alone...McCain was serving long before these Democrats. I like Barack, Hillary, and McCain... As a veteran I am leaning towards McCain on experience alone. I'm not going to vote. I'll let the people decide, regardless of who wins or loses. I'll respect them all!
It is very dissapointing that comments have to be approved on your videos. Do you understand how weak this makes you look? Why are you afraid of peoples oppinions?
I love the fact that he has maintained his integrity and kept his dignity while responding to the attacks against him. That has proven all the more that he has enormous worth as a leader.
I've been following the nomination campaign from last year until now and as a foreigner (I'm from Singapore, if you know where that is), I must say that my vote would go to Obama.
He is a great speaker and has this aura about him that gives hope and unite people together. Makes me feel I want to be part of the United States too. He knows what is plaguing the nation and dares to them speak out. I know Hillary has excellent qualities too and I'm sure they would make a great team if they won.
I admire you being so centered and never fall into the trap of cheap ticks of campaign. You are the Skipper of a full keel boat with good knowledge of when and how to turn the sails against the wind. I fee safe in that boat.
I admire you being so centered and never fall into the trap of cheap ticks of campaign. You are the Skipper of a full keel boat with good knowledge of when and how to turn the sails against the wind. I fee safe in that boat. Thank you so very much My President.
these attacks, that have just begun, are excellent training for Mr. Obama... because the gen. election is still three seasons away, and if he does get the nomination, he'll have to face the old Republican/Likuud attack machine, which is way WAY more formidable...
I don't think the Republicans are formidable in anyway coming into this election. They are weak on the issues, they are weak on message, and they are weak on their own nominee. This election will be about the future vs. the past...and Obama will win that debate.
Barack Obama won this debate hands down last night. Hillary Clinton comlained about the order in which she is questioned. Theres only 2 of them up there, somebody has to go first. She is so desperate for sympathy.
barak made hillary look stupid after all the shit she was talk'n just one day ago. sen. Obama looks like a duck in the water he's a realy great speeker.Obama 08!!!
the Democratic Party NEEDS to unite. The latest polls put McCain ahead of both Hillary and Obama
in the general Election. Can you imagine another 4 years of this administration? it will make me sick personally. Hillary and Obama need to set aside their differences and do what is right for their party, country and its citizens.
We follow this now from the beginning, and we are sure that Mr.Barack Obama will be the best person to become the President of the United States of America.and a lot of people in The Netherlands were I lifeand come from think the same. And and when we look at a lot of TV stations from arround the world,,,,,a lot of people no matter were they come from think the same.May God Bless you and youre Famely Mr.Obama
I think Obama Or Hillary Would make a better president then Mcain... Between Hillary and Obama I'd have to say Obama... I see how Hillary has become quite the Manipulator in these debates
I loved the fact that he didn't stoop to the level of previous candidates, whereas he would have just spewed a bunch of hate towards his opponent. NO! He took the higher ground and said nothing but nice things about her, and then turned it towards himself instead. Something that will be very valuable in foreign relations. Best Debate by far. Obama owned the night. Great job, and I cannot wait to have a respectable President again! OBAMA '08
The past two debates made things clear for me, American needs a president who will bring back a government of the people, by the people, and FOR the people. Who will bring honesty and integrity back to the white house. who unites the country and leads us into the future. Barack Obama is the one!
I think some people underestimate the ability of staying calm, cool and collective, but I worryingly feel people don't realise what an asset it is either.
...I don't understand why you used African Americans to demonstrate your stand on anti-Semitism. It was unnecessary for you to say that you spoke out about anti-Semitism at a MLK event. Well, most us of don't have a problem with Jews. Will you take a strong stand against racism?! After all - O'Reilly disrespected Mrs. Obama with lynching language but your campaign was silent (as far as I am aware). It would have been reasonable for you to defend your wife, though...
...I know your history is different from most African Americans and...
I know that Jews/whites helped bring about change for African Americans. Nonetheless - they were not the object of our struggle neither did they go through/survive our struggle. So explain to me how it is because of them that you are here today?! Well - most of us give honor to our ancestors for where we are today. They survived our holocaust, segregation, and Jim Crow...
Get this message to Obama: Expect backlash from African Americans because of how he handled the Farrakhan situation. Obama did not have to "denounce" the man - only his message. No Farrakhan is not perfect, but he is our respected elder. He stands against racism and injustice. No more doninations and no vote from me. This was the final straw. I overlooked being called nigger in both of your books. I overlooked your fear of being labeled black. Like OJ - you are going to need us again...
SOMALI dress, some people are funny. OBAMA´S father is from kenya, where is problem if the guy is an african dress? and remember USA is popular in AFRICA than anywhere else in this today´s world, this last october 2007 BUSH was dancing arabic song in BAHRAIN.
this is a diliberate attempt to get the votes from African Americans. Based on deceit formed by the corporate elite. Obama=CFR,trilateral com, he has sold you out to international bankers. Obamas promises are empty, just like the elite deceived treaties that later were never followed thru to the American Indians. This is why Blk Americans are so surprised to c a lineup w/ a black candidate, its a set up.Quit following the hype, look at the real involvements of Obama and the associations.
Describing Obama in this debate: Presidential. The man speaks like he's been running the country successfully for several years. He reeks of confidence and intelligence. He's done phenomenal things in Illinois, in the Senate, and he will do even better things when he's the 44th President.
Senator Clinton is not qualified. She rants about 35 years of experience, but I dont see anything phenominal that shes done in her 35 years, I wish she would disappear and throw up the white flag!

I thought the debate last night was OK, it was very similar to the other 19 they have had.
It was clear to me who was more Presidential!
Obama won the debate easily and I think will win both Ohio and Texas!

Obama clearly won. I watched the debate twice and Clinton had no answer on healthcare and NAFTA.

these attacks, that have just begun, are excellent training for Mr. Obama... because the gen. election is still three seasons away, and if he does get the nomination, he'll have to face the old Republican/Likuud attack machine, which is way WAY more formidable...

democracy works!
johnvt6 3 years ago
I don't think the Republicans are formidable in anyway coming into this election. They are weak on the issues, they are weak on message, and they are weak on their own nominee. This election will be about the future vs. the past...and Obama will win that debate.

Barack Obama won this debate hands down last night. Hillary Clinton comlained about the order in which she is questioned. Theres only 2 of them up there, somebody has to go first. She is so desperate for sympathy.

the Democratic Party NEEDS to unite. The latest polls put McCain ahead of both Hillary and Obama
in the general Election. Can you imagine another 4 years of this administration? it will make me sick personally. Hillary and Obama need to set aside their differences and do what is right for their party, country and its citizens.

Barack not only sounded really presidential just there, but also spelled out in very few words why he will be an excellent president!
Obama has the WIT, the CHARISMA, the PROGRAM, and the RECORD (= experience!) needed to be the best leader we have seen in a loooong time!

OBAMA '08

...I don't understand why you used African Americans to demonstrate your stand on anti-Semitism. It would have been reasonable for you to defend your wife, though...
vonniewit 3 years ago
...I know your history is different from most African Americans and...
I know that Jews/whites helped bring about change for African Americans. Nonetheless - they were not the object of our struggle neither did they go through/survive our struggle. So explain to me how it is because of them that you are here today?! Well - most of us give honor to our ancestors for where we are today. They survived our holocaust, segregation, and Jim Crow...
vonniewit 3 years ago
Get this message to Obama: Expect backlash from African Americans because of how he handled the Farrakhan situation. Obama did not have to "denounce" the man - only his message. No Farrakhan is not perfect, but he is our respected elder. He stands against racism and injustice. No more doninations and no vote from me. This was the final straw. I overlooked being called nigger in both of your books. I overlooked your fear of being labeled black. Like OJ - you are going to need us again...

this is a diliberate attempt to get the votes from African Americans.
