Chasing a Ducati Desmosedici RR on my 00' Aprilia Mille-R

I have seen two minutes, it´s the same all time? chasing or following? it´s disgusting, i don´t know wich of them is worst.. I don´t need to get the Tl 1000, with the XJ 600 of my father i would be double faster.. This is a walk, not a chase.

We definitely weren't racing, as you seem to think the word chasing explicitly implies. Yeah, I know the area well. Looks like Skyline or parts of Hwy 1. Loads of cops. Should go East by Livermore and take Mines road towards San Jose. Check it out on google. Best ride 110 mile ride in the twist and NO COPS! on a week day. A pub to rest at the Junction at the 50 mile mark. Be on your mark when you ride as you won't have anyone coming by for days if you should go down.

Its Highway 84 from where it intersects with Skyline, all the way out to the coast, where it intersects with Hwy 1. Mines road is awesome, but dangerous. I have footage of a ride on that road where two GOOD riders went down. Fantastic road, that... but poorly if ever maintained. Gravel everywhere!

This road looks amazing, where is it? america?, yes the ducati looks quick...in a straight line, but the bloke whos riding it cant go round corners!!! no offence, but us brits would have been knee down everywhere on a road like that, i'd love to come and ride that road..

I don't know what you brits have in the way of police over there, but there are some pretty dire consequences for getting caught going balls out on these roads. Make no mistake, these roads are MAGNETS for sportbikers to race through, and the local law enforcement is well aware. They're out en force every weekend, and know exactly where to hide, and work in teams.

Also, i'm not a racer. The rider on the Desmo is FAR better than I, and is im sure toning it down so I can keep up. Still, a decently spirited pace, I think.

Thats fair enough dude,but as we ride over here, fast through the corners and twisties, take your time on the straights, you aint ever gonna get a cop with a speed gun halfway round a corner!!! stay safe..

Stu, You're right that the Desmo rider does seem to be a bit off the pace - he often has to correct his line through the corners, which is certainly not the mark of an expert (I do the same thing tho certainly), but that being said, its a new bike, he's probably not used to it, and the tyres might be new too.

He wasn't absolutely caning it, but he wasn't hanging about either, and from his body lang, i suspect he CUD have gone knee dn if he wanted, but for w/eva reason, chose not to.

@keepitpinned83 looks a lot like skyline and if it is you forgot to mention that if you do hit mach 10 on those curves you might be comin up on a 4-wheeled, 2-ton hunk of iron a lot faster than you might wish
