I think YOU need to get your facts straight first, the Haldex 4WD system used in all VW 4motion cars only engages the drive to the rear wheels when it needs it, at all other times the car is effectively FWD only. Impreza on the other hand is true full-time FWD. If you don't believe these statements, feel free to do some research!

subaru is quick to get where you need to but on a straightway it is slow, an r32 has lots of potential cobra, well its a ford....

First do you want a 4 door or 2 door? The Cobra is a gas guzzler and doesn't have too much potential. The R32 will be expensive to fix and isn't as reliable. The most reliable and the cars with the most potential are the Z and WRX/STi. The Subaru has more possibilities when it comes to modding and handles better. Not to mention its more practical with AWD and 4 doors. So if you live somewhere with snow go for the Subaru. If not it comes down to practicality with the Z and Subaru.

Interesting, 100,000 miles on my R32 driving L.A. traffic. Original clutch, original everything with no problems. I also drive it like I stole it, redline it every day. It's the driver, not the car.

volevo prendere l R32 V dal concessionario mi dicono 9,5km/l booo.. nn ne sono tanto convinto, forse a 90km/h

Ciao, mi dispiace ma la macchina non era mia ma di un mio amico, quindi non ho idea dei conscumi...cmq anche a me 9,5km/l mi sembra troppo roseo come consumo.

Cmq quando si comprano certe macchine, il consumo dovrebbe essere uno degli ultimi parametri di scelta.
