This is not dorian holley but erland van lidth its from a previously recorded track he made because the SAG-AFTRA strike in 1980 when Stir Crazy was made prevented him from recording the song

That is definalely Mr. Dorian Holley. Yes, in this instance his voice is haunting.IMHO he's the smoothest singer since Sam Cooke. This man can sing the L.A. yellow pages and make it sound beautiful. He's also a very accomplished song writer.For a taste of his persona vocall style check out his cd called Independant Film(on CD Baby) You won't regret it.

that's me singing. dorian holley. i went in to audition. cut the tune at bob grabow's gold star studio. an old 2 trak recording facility in hollywood. never got a call back. next thing i know, the movie " stir crazy" is out. i had to go see the film to find out my voice was in it.
