I watched my best friend get killed at 18. Killed walking to school standing next to me by a speeding idiot jerk and a 2nd speeding idiot jerk. We were just like veda and thomas J, even in the way he acted and how i treated him cause everyone thought we liked each other. Every time i watch this movie it kills me inside. Yep,thats the reason why I can' t enjoy movies nowadays involving kids. I used to love the 90's movies kids would act as kids. I mean Dakota Fanning is a great actress but look at the kind of roles she got recently and she is still very young, she was in a movie where she played a a really "sexy" role.

lol I loved how in this movie Vada didn't know what a "period" was, that was a sweet scene. I watched a TV documentary and this girl got pregant at 12. That is really sad :(
