  • @notgoncry its an 83

  • @smitty6293 then youll have to go to the junk yard and get the roof from a nother firebird and put it on then you can order the kit

  • I need the list of all tools used. Please

  • so were is the hard part of this installation >:( grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

  • What if I have a convertible hard-top? Can this still be done and/or recommended?

  • It is body shop type masking tape made by 3M. You can buy it at any body shop supply store. The blue painters tape sold at home improvement and hardware stores will work good too. Good luck with your project. BDP Staff

  • @zedog3380 Your video is quite impressive i recently bought a 2011 kia cerato and wanted a sunroof installed they charged me a shit load of bucks thanks to your video i can do it myself.

  • Hi, great video, what type of sticky tape did you use to avoid damaging the paint?

    thanks

  • Thanks for the vid.

  • Ok....Great! Glad you liked it. We're working on another more detailed install of an electric slide back model in a new Charger. Stay tuned. BDP.

  • Thumbs up if this video made u think about liquid electronic sex

  • Thanks for the comment. The word "Instructions" is spelled correctly at 3:20. The kit was purchased on the internet for a little over $100 USD.

Please note your comment is an incomplete sentence.

Thanks and keep watching BDP staff.

  • where did you buy this kit from and you spelled instructions wrong at 3:20

  • Dude what kind of saw did you use? I did one of these on my durango a few years back with a jig saw, it worked but I blew through a couple dozen blades easy.

  • The kit used in this video was a little over $100 dollars US. Take your time, measure many times before cutting and you can do it. Good luck.

We are planning another video on sunroof installation. Look for it early next year. Thanks BDP

  • hey i got a 2002 pontiac bonneville n i was thinkin bout install a sunroof...how much the kit is and do you think i should do it my self

  • @zedog3380

    THanks for the direction.

  • What is the sunroof brand? And where can I buy it?

  • ADVICE PLEASE. I have a cadillac cts, got in an accident and my sun roof is pretty much gone. Would it be better to have someone do it pro? or do it myself? if you have any knowledge on prices, please enlighten me.

  • @ilikemy777

I recommend having a professional repair and service your

sunroof on your CTS. Thanks BDP

  • Be sure to check out my other video on repairing a front end on a 2010 dodge charger.

  • Probably the nicest video here, I have two questions, right after applying the sealant part, doesn't the sunroof also have a built in gasket underneath? And you should a piece where we see these aluminum strips, don't they go in between the sunroof and the liner? Confused about where the plastic clips go. No video was shown, other than that, great video.

  • @dcfs2005

The strips go between the sunroof and roof panel. There is another gastket that supports the headliner and finishes of the installation. Sorry we did not include that part, we will in the next video.

    Thanks for watching.

  • VERRYY helpfull guys! thanks alot, wish me luck!

  • An electric metal nibbler was used here.

  • Wow this helped out big time. I bought the same exact sunroof off ebay. I plan on doing this to my El Camino. What cutting tool did you use? Will a jig saw work?

  • that was insaine, good work, what was the tool you used to cut?

  • To me, that's more scary than walking on glass!
