I personally have a '78 bronco with about a 3 inch lift on buckshot q's. Sat up for 10 years, bought it from my grandfather, next day it turned over like a monsters ready to run. Unfortunately the next day the starter went out, ill have it running soon for my mud bogging truck. Southern pride!
i paid 1500 for 78 bronco ranger xlt in texas, only rust was driver side floor board. drove it 2 hours home and had it pass inspection as is. Everything on it is over 30 years old so just going through and slowly replacing stuff. I will be adding videos of mine later on.
dude u could have got a bunch more than that out of it it is a 1979 ford bronco ranger xlt they made them for two years they are rare. when i was looking for one i saw one go with a ripped up interior and blown up motor it went for 1500 we just got one from for 500 bucks the guy had absolutely no idea what he had if you read about em there called a free wheelin package they made em for 78 and 79 we could easily set ours out in the yard and get 1500 for it especially since it runs
Is it sold? I read it's sold in the description and I'm wondering why this video is still posted if it's sold. If you still have it let me know. I'll take good care of it. I rescue old Fords all the time and restore them back to their original splendor.
Not downing you western & southern folks, but you guys scrap perfect vehicles! If it's gotta scratch, you scrap it! Wtf? up here, we restore heap's to like new & no, not bondo & would love to have an almost rust free or rust free truck that maybe needs the dry rottes tires replaced & the sun faded paint buffed out. Just sayin.. This trucks a gem for some of us.
im lookin at a 79 f150 custom rite now. 650, its got a litl rust on the cab corners an a litl abov the reer wheel wells, but hey its michigan..its got the 400m with 4b carb an headers, dual exhaust set up. could use a new paint job but it runs!
$1700? that man must have been a FOOL to buy it for that much with all the problems with it. i love this year model ford but, its only worth about $900 to be honest.
78-79 Broncos that are in good shape are getting harder to find so prices are going to keep going up. I think I probably would have gave a max of 1200 for this one.
This is when SUV's were built for sport not soccer practice.

I bought mine outa Ky for $450 & drove it home. It's a 79' XLT Ranger too.
I will never sell mine cause it's too universal & I have too many plans with it & too many reasons to use it. hahaha
