  • i like woodie because I can identify with it, it reminds of the past he rights deep songs to each his own

  • I love the woodie treck "streets are callin me" it really draws you in and makes you envision yourself as one such as him, devoid of a way out but to hustle. Props on the list

  • I'm favoriting this

  • Its good to find out what kinda stuff you listen to, I had wondered about it for some strange reason. You like a good mix of stuff! Jack off Jill was one of my things a while back too. Oh, and thanks for the kind words on my song, reggae wasn't on your list though, haha.

Have you heard any Immortal Technique? I think you may find it interesting to listen to, he is one of the few modern politically aware hip hop artists that I know of. Give the song "Harlem Streets" a listen.

  • sorry for responding so late to this and thank you for tagging me, i normally don't like tag games, but i must admit that i find this one interesting, because music is something essential to me. I share your passion for Rammstein, not a big Tool fan but i like the song schism. Personally i prefer any sort of music depending on my mood, what i want to express, think or feel.Music is like a mirror and the melody has its own voice caressing the soul for me. I need to listen to hardcore again..lol

  • i played the violin as a child and now i play the piano and that makes me like an addict to it.

It makes me feel free. I suppose that it is because of this classic music that i absorb, i have also a strong desire to listen more to the hard stuff...^^

Actually i think the violin has influenced me a lot somehow, it made me more sensitive and intuitive to the different tunes that a song reveals.

    Regards Kai

  • Orgy, VNV and Jack off Jill.. all on my MP3 player and all splendid. You rule, much respect to you :D x

  • Id did mine.. it is like long and rambling hehehe

  • Awesome and deep reply, man. Thank you so much! You've given me more ideas to talk about.

  • I like a lot of instrumental music. Like you said, it could be because I play instruments myself, well, I used to. I'm also a dancer, so it just seems natural and beautiful. Not that I don't like music with singing :) Like you, I enjoy mostly female voices. Most of the male singers I enjoy have very strong voices.

  • You should try And One, neue Deutsche Härte (the first is a Band the second a Music direction)....

my favorite vnv song is illusion

And ohh yeah if you like the pretty ugly thing try ASP... that hits it head on... the guy makes me shiver...covers old legends, too

And yes I feel the way about it... instrumentals kann chatch me and let me imagin... but i think that its easyer without singing.... Enough of my rambiling so

    Oh yeah no Bandanna *smile*

  • I missed ya!

I know Woodie! I know Woodie! You played me that when we were sitting in your flat.. yay. Memories...

I booked my plane for 5th January. SO excited.

  • I don't hate music. It's cool.

I just don't have this *passion* for it that so many of my YT friends and acquaintances do.

I'm like you as far as not particularly liking to have it on in the background. Sometimes I really feel for hearing some of the things I like, but I can go weeks without any urge to hear music. But when I *do* feel for it, I sit down and listen to it. Nothing else other than eating or drinking going on.

  • Hah, this really sounds a lot like how I am with music.

I think I went and listened to more music after being tagged than I had in a long time.

  • Don't like instrumental music?! Listen to Squarepusher. Go Plastic. NOW.

  • Squarepusher - amazing.

  • FINALLY. Someone else who understands the madness! YOU. ARE. AWESOME.

  • Also, listen to Play by Neuroactive, it's lyrics are awesome in my opinion.

  • Thanks for the suggestion! I'll be sure to check it out.

  • Anytime. :D I think music/art is the essence of culture and should be shared freely.

If you like Play then I also suggest Last Comfort by Thoushaltnot.

p.s. Listen to The Girl In Byakkoya by Susumu Hirasawa just because it is vocally and instrumentally interesting.

  • VNV Nation!!! <3

The farthest star is my one of my favorite songs by them!

  • FUCK YEAH :D
