  • I just want to say thank you to you for having these videos...what great memories of David Carradine!

  • Arrogant christians; she'd even try to convert Caine!

  • @SaintFieIdmonkeys buddhism is more peacefull then christianity

  • @666voltanaligern Peace is within you. Not what you believe

  • @Truthseeker244 well said.

  • "You can burn your chopsticks!" LOL

Fundies like this lady have a particularly insidious form of obsessive-compulsive disease.

  • The boy, is that Ernie Reyes Jr.?

  • @chairmanofthebored1 No. Ernie, Jr. was born in 1972. During the time frame of this series, Ernie would only have been two to four years old.

  • @chairmanofthebored1 The actor who plays young Wing is Carey Wong.

  • its so sad that bible beaters can be sooo nice in one faction, but so ignorant in another. to believe their way is the right way and no one elses is is wrong, but it is nice to see them do kind things.

  • How did you manage to get the entire series? I am thankful to you for posting it.

  • Thanks sO much, friend!! ( :

  • The slave master spoke in accented Cantonese. It clearly was not his first dialect. When Caine was translating, he uttered jibberish. David Carradine does not speak Cantonese. Most of the viewing audience in 1972/73 wouldn't have known what was what.

  • @Doleafol Of course your're right. Hell, regular "Americans" wouldn't know the difference today.

  • thank you so very much for posting these Great series....he is missed.

  • Speaking of inaccuracies, I have known some monks and none of them spoke in slow whispers like Kane. It gets annoying at times. I did like this episode though.

  • Despite some inaccuracies, there are some actual historical references here.

The missionary woman is based on Donaldina Cameron who actually resisted the San Francisco Tongs and rescued Chinese woman from them.

The character of "Ah Quong" is a "highbinder" or "hatchetman"...complete with chain-mail vest & hatchet.

Though much "license" was taken with the show, such as the mixture or Chinese and Japanese cultures, & the "emperor" in the 1870's being "an old man", this ep. stands out.

  • i just love it how every episode cain is forced to do something.

  • did they really speak chinese?

  • this one is TEH MILK, legend contunues sucks (too phantasious for my taste, C'mon Caine is able of some sort of teleportation)
