@duo8675309 i dunno man, i think that tom might be turned down of his own accord. notice the solo isn't drowned out, i think he might've set his rhythm levels a tad too low. though i think it sounds great, i definately agree the guitar is lacking in power at the start. but the drums, vocals and bass seem well enough balanced, and when tom switches pickup for the solo he matches there volume. either way it's a great performance

You can never hear bass in modern recordings.

However its not his fault his bass is overpowering. . . It's all through a pa system so they won't have control over the final output volume
