.... I'm not being sceptical here... Great video, loved it, love Gn'R, but i don't think this is a real video... Did you make it yourself? I just don't think this video is professional enough to have been directed by Racco, and knowing Gn'R, they wouldn't have allowed the riffing to be out of place (i.e. the musicians were out of time with the video, and playing different riffs to that on the soundtrack).

Awesome. Always loved this song. I'd love it if someone dug up a genuine unreleased video of Nightrain too. Somehow this song and Nightrain always seemed to go together (maybe because they are adjacent tracks on the album? I don't remember exactly). The band was so naturally dynamic and active on stage that, in my opinion, any music video that showcased pure live footage of them resulted in some of the best Rock videos, period. Simple but spectacular.

Hate to rain on the parade; but I don't think this is the real video. Think about it the song was written in the 80's in the early days when Adler was still in the band. The footage on this video shows footage from the Use Your Illusion/World Tours in the 90's; when Axl had the red bandana instead of the blue headband. It wouldn't make sense to release it well after A.F.D. especially when Axl said he wanted to put it behind him.

@therealsaintseiya there were actually 4 directors involved in the T2 video Jean Pelleran, Stan Winston, an editor from the film who's name escapes me, and myself...after I shot the Brownstone video the band hired me to replace the other cats and recut the video as post-production director for GnR. Caused quite a stir with the suits at propaganda, seeing as I was only 24 and relatively inexperienced at that time. But Axl and izzy loved Brownstone and insisted that I do "you could be mine"

according to the uploader (and it seems to be true) footage is from their 2nd warm-up show May 11, 1991. illusions came out months later on September 17, 1991.

it could have been just some playing around with their live footage they started to tape from EVERY(!!) show since May 09, 1991 until now. and as the "You Could Be Mine"-video was to come (with May 16, 1991 footage) there wasnt really need for an AFD-video. its also weird seeing Matt playing Steven's drum parts.
