Congrats on your wedding! Mine is in a couple of months and we're using silk flowers too. We bought ours (pink cherry blossoms) from michaels last spring utilizing like a kagillion coupons and our vases are from dollar tree (gotta save some money... Expecting about 250 guests) Suspended in water and surrounded by candles they look really pretty and romantic! I'm really excited to see that you liked the silk flowers idea too :) can't wait to see pics of your special day!

except that silk flowers are a lot more pricey than fresh flowers.. and you don't need to use fishing weights to weigh down flowers. wholesalers have special tools to weigh down flowers..

We're doing silks for our flowers, due to our allergies, plus a lot of guests have them too. Some of our silks look a lil fake up close, but I'm okay with it. Like she said, if your guests are touching & inspecting your flowers...they're the issue, lol. I also like that I can keep my bouquet forever.
