  • knee mount a bigger guy,the transition is inevitable because he is bigger your but rides too high above your feet in mount position....lifting your ass will get you swept or rolled over....let him, he will roll over if you knee mount and give the back everytime.Key note ,dont volunteer to be underneath a bigger guy.try to take his back imediatly or learn to SHRIMP if you get trapped underneath ,its a must grappling move from bottom,all attacks come from the bottom start and stop with hip shrimps

  • learn to shrimp out ,head push,never go for armbar from top just maintain it, he will gas,then the submission will appear as the choke did,try to stay attacking especially his centerline head push hip push shrimp....nice passes ...someone gets around your neck .YOU DROP THE DISHES AND GET THAT ARM OFF YOUR NECK,awesome video

  • Black guy was pretty fast when he mvoed into side control at 1:06. You guys are good for someone who claims themselves as amateur. Practice hip escapes, counters, and make your guard harder to pass .

  • from the bottom position, once you have arm control, rock your hips back and forth to make him off balance, once done with that u can go into an armbar or a triangle

  • at 57 seconds of the the vid see how you just went up and jumped to the arm bar. what you need to do is , that knee that you swang over his head, side it up under his shoulder first , as you go to throw it over , grab or hold the arm really close , don't forget to scoot your hips in real tight and use your heals to bring him in more and keep him from rolling in .

  • a tip 4 when u mounted make sure u vine ur legs into his or else its a lot easier 2 get rolled, also right before going 4 the armbar make sure u pivot ur hips around keeping ur body low and close to his or else its easier 2 lose conrol and "illBeastOnYou's comment is very accurate..good luck bro hope 2 c great improvement, i'll b watching

  • hey man good scrap ...the choke at 3 min mark ... i like to get my arm around a bit more so the V of my elbow is in line with his chin a bit more ... like putting his adams apple in the pocket of the elbow ... also ... i didnt see the push hand .. i tend to ride it up a bit higher on the back of the head while im pushing his head a bit forward ... makes the tap a bit quicker and sometimes you dont have a lot of time ... i like your style man and your attitude ROCKS

  • when your in the lock up and his arm is around you, truck his arm and push against him when he pushes back fall backwards to your butt and spin at the sametime and he should flip over you. remeber to only fall to your butt when he pushes against you

  • work ur way up on the mount. don't sit at his hips u can get bucked pretty easy, especially when ur working on his arms, if he catches ur weight off balance u will get bucked. instead work ur knees under his arms get high up on him, this will also allow tighter armbars, etc..

    When u can't get his arm, (i have the problem rolling with bigger guys) stick ur closest foot on his throat and push, that will make him release. nice lil choke aswell :P also learn the armbar from the guard

  • learnt he armbar from the guard... notice his left arm was crossed over your chest for a LONG time, whenever there is a cross in either arm or both, think armbar, then u just need to transition and swing ur foot around his head, pinch ur knees turn the thumb up, and lift ur hips.. guard work is really beginner for BJJ, i would say focus on the guard, especially if ur going to roll with bigger guys.

    Good luck with it man, and when he has sideguard if your flexible enough butterfly would help

  • @JEETkuneDOstudent When you do the armbar, you can hook you right arm under his leg, then pry his arm out with your left one. The reason for this is that it stops him from rolling towards you. Check out submissions101 (youtube channel) they got some awesome tips

  • one more tihng when you take his back don't lock the feet together like in guard you should let them hang there but you can get footlocked if you lock them

  • Hey everybody Iam not trying to steal his thunder but searchb the channel dubc273 to see amateur grappling and you say your a beginer but you are very good for abeginner my advice is not always do closeguard when in that position sometime butterfly hooks are better much easier to get sweeps

    Make sure you keep everything tight! Seems loose a lot of places, your controls got much better. Also, learn Gankster Lean for the mount(I control good wrestlers in mount with it) and also Twister Side for side control.

    If you start using Mission Control/Rubber Guard, he puts his hand on the mat a lot and you'll be able to catch him with it.
