  • Where do you spot at Logan?

  • nice nice nice ,sale un avion iberia jajajajaja , direccion españa xd

  • Very cool, my fellow aviation nerd. Thanks for putting the time into this. I've watched a lot of aviation video, and this is one of the most unique. The soundtrack is awesome too, actually got me into Massive Attack!

  • Жесткий траффик

  • YOu did an awesome job

  • I like this! a great job of editing!

I'm from Spain, and if I stay close to an airport spotting for more than an hour, police will arrive and question me. I'm not surprised that the coast guard showed up, I AM SURPRISED THEY TOOK SO LONG to show up, in a country so paranoic with plane terrorism like the USA

  • This video is very very exciting!!

    Which runway did you shoot?

I'm looking for this place on map. But I can't find this place.

  • Did you film this or taking photos and compressing them to this? :)

  • this is sickk.

  • 1:07 "sorry tower, it seems like i slipped on the clutch pedal..will restart this plane again"

  • Neat watching the tide go out!

  • When the planes takeoff, it seems very fake xD. But I know it's real and time elapsed and all, but it's just kinda looks likte it:P. Nice video man, enjoyed it

  • The airplane at 1:37! Holy cow!

  • Amazing video !!

  • I was flying jetblue that day! Might have been the same plane i was on!

  • Its like theres a Vacuum System at the end of the runway and they're getting sucked into it.... Apart from 1 small 1 that got thrown into the reject pile on the right hand side halfway through... :-)

  • Note how some of the airliners' elevators trim right before takeoff.

    Very cool vid.

  • This is awesome!!!! Great meeting you at Terminal B on Sunday. Keep up the good work!

    Best,

    Lisa

  • Awesome

  • this is awesome man! *_* it's like porn for my eyes!

  • Wicked video!! Well done.....!

  • Great Video...Nice work

  • I meant thanx

  • Thane for sharing man. awesome footage

  • Very nice job. Anyone shooting video for places like YouTube needs to use the same equipment you do.

  • hmmm is there a thomas cook plane there?

  • Plane check, load check, ready check, FIRRRREEYYAAA

  • Lol american eagle erj-145. DONUT! 0:45

  • Awesome video!

  • Nice vid!

  • Thumbs up if you can see the water moving every time that a planes goes take off!

  • 0:45 : What is that plane doing? A 270º Turn?

  • lol to the difference in climb rate between jet and prop :D

  • breakdancin at 0:45

  • The only heavies I saw were:

    Iberia A340-300

    Lufthansa A340-600

    Air France 747-400

    Air One A330-200

Still, AMAZING VIDEO!!!!!!! One of the best planespotting vids in YouTube!!!!! :D

  • Brilliant!

  • smog!!

  • wow lol my logan airport time lapse is nothing compared to this!

  • Kudos to you for putting this up for airline junkies like myself :)

  • Epick... Very much psihodel...

  • I think it's a great idea and turned out really well. Might be cool to repeat during nighttime.

  • The Music is: Massive Attack - I am Home

  • hilarious ...

  • tel me please what the sundtrack of movie?

  • I was piloting the third plane in. We were off to Denver. great video!

  • @cometpowell Nice! Would that be the private Challenger jet?

  • @cometpowell - Third one in was a Frontier E-190, no?

  • @cometpowell the third was the best

  • 1:35 Fuck the runway heading, I'm outta here!

  • Amazing job my friend!!!

  • @neocastillo Thank you!

  • I have been "asked" so many times to leave parks and locations because I was a security concern. I do what you do. I tape aircraft. Great footage friend. Love it. What kind of rig did you use to record it?

  • @PConvictions Fortunately i've never been asked to leave a location when filming. Check out my main channel for cam's used and such. I used a Panasonic TM15 on this video.

  • Amazing! Congratulations from Portugal!

  • @crazymoscaportugal Thanks!

  • Reminds me of Cyriak videos.

  • Are the small jets like the one at 1:00 the Northeastern air shuttles?

  • @GlobalistPotato They are private/corporate jets for businesses or those rich folks.

  • @BostonAirborne That won't surprise me... What planes are usually used for the air shuttles?

  • I liked the part where the plane took off.

  • @ZeJubjub The best part of all.

  • @ZeJubjub trololol

  • i noticed that all the airbusses when they put on full throttle the elevators slightly drooped downwards. why is that so?

  • @britishairwayspilot1 Hi ! Just because it is SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) on Airbuses for the pilot to push on the (side)stick at that moment.

  • @francois330 ah thanks for that :D

  • with time elapsed big and mighty aircrafts looks like little bugs on a wind

  • Great video. Very unique idea :)

  • 19 people missed their flight.

  • Fantástic.

Thank you for sharing it with us

    :)

  • 2:00 Cessna 310!!! :D

  • Is that runway 22R?

  • @mfatah281 Yes

  • That was totally AWESOME! Thanks for that excellent vid. Makes me want to cough a few times; some of the planes put up quite a bit of smoke, like an ol' DC9 would. This vid gives me an idea of what to expect at KBOS. I'm definitely hooked now. Could you tell me,what runway is that? And what location are you here, where the cops seem a little skiddish? Would they freak out if I were to use a lil' handheld point n shoot (Nikon Coolpix L120)? Love your vids, can't wait to see more!

  • Very busy airport : great patience on your part to video the action, thank you.

  • Well done. I found it quite interesting how they kept getting the light guys out in between, seemingly with next to no wake turbulence separation. I know the elapsed time feature can mislead on this but I saw several take offs of "lights" while the smoke was still in the air from the preceding heavier craft. In any case, you have great patience!

  • amazing!!!...

  • Nice video!

  • Imbecile police ruin everything. Love what you put together though . . ..

  • this is HD porn for plane-spotters.

  • I reviewed this video 10 times already! great job! Convey greetings law enforcement!

  • To Space, #LOL

  • LOL it's f**kin busy day

  • siiiiiiick

  • Love this! I know exact the spot where this video was shot and always go to that area to watch the planes with my family. Superb job!!

  • I retired after 24 years at ZFW. Appreciate your work!

  • why the negatives to this vid? don't understand !

  • The image/music syncro is amazing. Loved it!

  • whaw, very nice !

  • Cool how you can see the jet blasts hit the water

  • All the plane-spotters are like: "Sweet HD porn!"

  • jet engines are the way of the future... the way of the future... the way of the future...

  • thumbs up ja tu skaties šito video tikai tādēļ, ka zz ieteica. ;)

  • nice vid!

  • Video clear and bright show how we are polluting our "sweet" home named earth. negative video.

  • @7absinth Yeah. 5000 gallons of fuel on each plane.

  • Very good clip :)

    How about landing?

  • Very good clip :)

    How about landindg?

  • Great job!

I've just started doing time lapse myself. What was your interval set for? How many FPS did you render it at?

  • 17 people never rode an airplane before.

  • N-JOY.DE

  • Speedhack?

  • Amazing! You should try and do one of planes landing.... If you were at the end of the runway then it would look crazy as the super fast planes come into land then slow down just as they get to you!

  • This is really beautiful. Looking at the amount of planes flying out you start to see how the whole airport fits together into a kind of assembly line formua. It also reminds me of bats or bees lining up to leave a nest.

Would make a great screensaver on loop. :)

  • Actually I think the length you shot (70 minutes) is enough time for this video. Plain awesome the first time I saw it. If you pack too many planes into the vid, it might become a bit boring. If I would suggest anything is to try to time a reshoot when heavies are using the runway for departures.

  • This was really cool. Should re-shoot one day, if you can, with tilt-shift for micro-machine airplanes!

  • @BostonAirborne WHY the heck did you mark my post as a spam?? It's not an ad!! I'm asking which company is that, the one 747 passing right after United? at 1:00?

  • @flyjfk Wasn't me buddy. YouTube automatically marks certain comments as spam. You mean Air France 747?

  • Cool.

  • This is compelling. Makes one realize just how many planes there are flying (and how well it all works, generally). Fascinating.

  • Suddenly, an A380 lands and ruins everything.

  • @BostonAirborne Do you remember what time you shot this video? I think I might be on one of these flights, which would be pretty awesome.

  • @shutturbug08 Between 5 and 6:15pm

  • @BostonAirborne Sweet! That would put me on the Spirit flight at 1:33. Pretty neat getting to watch my flight take off. Thanks for sharing!

  • Comment removed

  • The little plane at 1:34 takes off REALLY close behind that jet! The jet hasn't even lifted off the runway when he throttles up and takes off. Check out his crazy flight path too, he banks it hard right, every other plane flew straight out =)

  • Futurama?

  • Unbelievable Awesome footage

  • OUTSTANDING JOB...CONGRATS

  • Awesome!!

  • Love the vid, love Massive Attack

  • @ 2:23 pilot is left handed.

  • Neat-o keen.

  • Spiffy video

  • that was cool..I posted it on my blog

  • Awesome footage..., I see a series of vids like this.....all the major airports of the world!

  • Much respect. I agree with the comment that a night-time video would be great also. Dang, I wish someone could do this for all my favorite airports, like PHX and ATL. I've used Sony Vegas also - good choice.

  • Great Video....you should do one a night also....

  • the music sounds like something out of a Splinter Cell game.

  • I HATE flying but watching this made me think how many people fly on a daily basis and they all, more or less, land safely :p

anyways, yeah bad for the atmosphere but this is a great vid. good idea.. :)

  • AWESOME! Now you need one from the other end, or landing.

  • Fantastic video....

  • Plane at 0:45 turned around like a boss.

  • @megabenlinksonicman

    hahahaha yeaaaah :)

  • @megabenlinksonicman Massive Attack – I am Home

  • And thats how we bur CO2 into the atmosphere.

  • wow there are alot of airplanes!!

  • Thanks for doing and sharing this video....it might prove valuable with our work in addressing pollution issues.

  • 1:35 Alguem decolou errado.

  • Nice work here. I work in building with a view of Logan, and during the day, I observe chemtrail spray planes climbing sometimes very near Logan, and I suggest, perhaps, photographing these, and posting here on YOUTUBE.

These planes are out most days, and are ubiquitous in Boston, and surrounding areas.

  • 1:37 A332 Air One

  • что за город

  • @ramilschakurov Бостон, Масачусец

  • If only it could take that amount of time !

  • I was approached by police while videotaping commuter rail back in 2002. I told them I was on public property (a public parkway) and was filming for hobby purposes. I asked them if they really wanted to pursue harassing me for something that was perfectly legal prior to 9/11 and they reluctantly backed off.

FORTUNATLEY, it's very difficult for law enforcement to build cases against legitimate rail fans and aircraft enthusiasts.

  • Interesting how much dirt comes out of many of them while starting!

  • @fougisbergere The engines are running the whole time, the "dirt" you see if from throttle up for takeoff.

  • That reminds me--mosquito season has started!

Cool video--I can't help the way my mind works. It also reminds me of the old Busby Berkely musicals....

  • Boston Logan still uses ICTS security (an Israeli frim) taking care of security-even after their blunder on 9/11.

Gee, I wonder why the US media is still silent about which security firm let the hijackers onboard?

By the way, ICTS also took care of all the other airports involved in 9/11, the underwear bomber and the shoe bomber as well.

    I smell a rat...

  • @dgl1962

    It is a kosher rat.

  • @dgl1962 Very interesting info. Do you have a link or any other information you could provide? I'd like to learn more - off to google just in case.

  • @sisk22 Google is easier, but on 911 Newark Intl & Boston Logan were involved (both ICTS). The shoe bomber originated in Paris (ICTS), the underwear bomber originated in Schiphol Amsterdam (ICTS) and was allowed on board w/no passport!.

It gets worse, most of the land line and cell billing contracts are done by VERINT TECH. & AMDOCS, both Israeli firms who can (and do) tap almost any US phone, like cops, FBI, judges, their wives, you & me.

Why do we allow this security madness?

  • @dgl1962 Wow that's a really interesting situation. I don't know - but they definitely shouldn't be allowed to defend our airports..

  • @sisk22 It is very interesting, but the most interesting aspect of it all is that our TV news is SILENT about all of it.

Let's say an Iranian, Russian, French or even a Canadian company took care of security for the 911 airports, do you believe that we wouldn't be hearing about their malfeasance every day for it?

Why do Israeli's get a pass from scrutiny?

The phone billing is the worst though, they tap ANYONE they wish and you can bet they blackmale them as well.

    But our media is silent...

  • @dgl1962 Of course. Israel gets a pass on everything. It's incredible what that country gets away with on a daily basis.

  • Now I wish there'll be a time lapse of jet fighters take offs and lands in a military airbase, it will be much cooler.

  • it could be the next daily viral video lol

  • Great time-lapse, I really enjoyed it!

  • Savage vid man, could watch all day...... Other comments praise the ATC guys for a job well done, true that ..... But imagine if planes actually took off and landed that fast ;) ATC would be so much fun then. LMAO

  • Guess I wasn't the only one to notice how much pollution these planes cause...

  • Everytime a jet took off in this vid I said "Wee!"

  • Nice work!

  • i LOVE flying, I wish I could become a pilot and enjoy it, but my art comes first :P

  • Is this video meant to show the pollution coming out of an airplane?

  • Way cool!! I love how two of the planes turned the corner and booked, they didn't even stop!

  • Really amazing and well done, thanks! The large aperture setting making the distance out of focus is especially neat. I love how the planes take off into the blur.

  • Well done! I was at Boston Logan Airport in September for the first time on a flight from Madrid, Spain. It's a real pleasant experience to land there. Coming down while over the ocean....seeing the small boats....the lighthouses.... I enjoyed it.

  • @WineBeerLover I believe you're talking about the Southwest 737, or you might be talking about the Lufthansa a330 before it...

  • this was awesome! thanks!

  • I saw a bunch of Senecas in there. I guess Logan is more friendly to small aircraft than the NY airports.

    Great Video!

  • @jutholmes1 Actually their Cessna 402's used by Cape Air to go from Boston to the Cape and Islands.

  • Great work!

  • Great creative video. Some of the planes seemed like robots. very cool. thanks
