The start of the song is purely speaking; the first two minutes are like a poem then the pan flute comes on and the song just f*****g kicks. Then comes What Would I Want? Sky and it is just so f*****g incredible! Then to Bleed, which plays as a sick interlude in the Ep and next is On a Highway and it is badass then I Think I Can, like holy sh*t man! Fall Be Kind is one of the most incredible albums of this time, really of all time. Best 27 and a half minutes you'll have all day

Avey Tare is Animal Collective man...seriously, the Panda Bear worship is getting a bit too much just now. AT is the primary songwriter, and for my money he has by far the better songs if you look at the whole band's output. I'm not dissing Panda Bear, he's integral to the band, (as is Geologist, unsung hero), but they do need to get over the "omg, he's the new brian wilson' shit. He's really not. Just because he wrote the 'hit' of MPP people seem to think hes the creative guy

I love the "pan flute" sample. Its use here, as the backbeat for the vocals, gives the song a confrontational yet relaxed feel, as if the elements themselves of the universe had grown furious over our creation, but are rendered entirely ineffectual by our intoxicating dance.

well, MPP had a very aquatic feeling to it yes, but sung tongs had a woodsy feel, strawberry jam had a sweet and tart kind of feel to it, and I think their new album will be very airy and sky-like hence this song and What Would I Want Sky. You are right about the aquaticness but id say only for MPP. :)
