He's like; so Energized!! Deep Purple Mark II will always be the best of the gang, in my books, anyway. Yep. I was Hooked to Purples' sound in '69 and listen to them every day. Everyone has a band they can't get enough of. Mark II is mine...gotta love speedy Stevie though. He's doing a fine job as is Don. May Deep Purple live on, and on, and on.

It's a shame Rb broke his finger on this tour because it was shaping up to being a gret one. DP has never been the same since.

really? how did he break it and how did he get it fixed? I fractured my finger a year ago and despite splinting it for months and going for an operation it still hasn't fully healed...need some inspiration from this amazing man to continue practising guitar and not giving up.

At the end of shows. RB would often throw his guitar high in the air, catch it, then smash it. He broke it trying to catch it. He had it in a splint and it healed a few months later. Im heard though he re-broke it after the first Bn album.

Hang in there bro. I ruptured my quad almost 4 monthe ago and have to have another knee operation. It's been rough but will both be up and running soon zI hope.
