Lenovo ThinkPad SL500 Laptop

mine is an sl500 but it doesnt have the fingerprint scanner, i got it as a handy down for free and idk what it runs on but it doesnt have a start button. its all orange and colored i think ubuntu but idk a lot about computers. im trying to download free rpg games online and it wont let me open them it says archive type not supported. idk what that means. help

I have a problem with my thinkpad Lenovo laptop SL series SL400... de CD/DVD drive not working and CD/DVD drive icon disappearing from My Computer, I use Win7 32 bits. the drive not reading/writing media not do it anything, please help it's serious.. what can I doing ?

I've bought this thing about 2 years ago.. still works but it sucks lol, if you want it to work somewhat decent, upgrade to ATLEAST 4gig Ram and screw vista go Win 7.

I own a Thinkpad X60s, love it to death.

I don't know about this "SL" series however.

If anyone is looking to get a Thinkpad, I recommend the T or the X series; I promise you won't be disappointed.

i have it because i have a serious business with websites and i need some security and reliability as well as power...

i play Team Fortress 2 with it with no problem on max settings and i can watch movies in my flat screen with no problem
