Consider the possibilities though. Think of the sensory feedback you get with the wiimote. Now integrate that idea into a disc-shaped controller and you would be able to feel and hear the puck clacking against your controller.

Hit a button, and the table switches to foosball. A swipe of the finger spins and slides the virtual rods.

Tell me you wouldn't spend a buck to try that game out...

If they did what you said, I would be the first one to buy it! I have an air hockey table and the pucks I have are too light and fly off easily. Having this would prevent that. I also think you could have different templates to use too. Like if its air hockey, maybe your favorite NHL team as a template, or if foosball, a football team.  Hell they coudl do subboteo if they wanted to with this technology!
