I was lecturing on the Paul-Is-Dead mystery at a Beatlefest in Chicago where Donovan was a guest speaker.
During an after-hours party I was playing guitar with a girl playing violin. When I played the ´Face the World´ melody, and she played along, Donovan heard this, liked it, and was inspired to pick up a guitar, sit in, and jam along. He was very intrigued with this particular rhythm.
I have a video of this encounter which I am debating posting.
Any Donovan fans interested in seeing this?
