Remember that our EU masters couldn't have foisted their new dictatorship without help. Latterly Labour help, a party more treasonous than even the Tories for landing us in a fully-fledged federal European Bastardstate.
But people are waking up, not with just a little help from the Web.
Click my username or paste title into bar: THINGS CAN ONLY GET LABOUR - WHY THE 'PC' QUISLINGS WILL LOSE THE NEXT ELECTION (SPEECH)
Just becouse of his "show", delying, negotiating (i remember that summit) etc all the Euro-soviets were calling him names... that`s the only effect of this circus.
I dont understand why everyone is objecting to this treaty. Could it possibly take away some of our rights? Will we all have to go to the army? Whats going on??!! Why is it so bad?
"Could it possibly take away some of our rights?" - just the way it was pushed took, it doesn`t matter anyway what we say, few guys in the suits made decissions and spent lots of our money to promote "yes" in Ireland and the whole EU...
Well, the lisbon treaty surely has its flaws but you exaggerate way to much. Why just only black and white? They are many greys in between. The nation states of the past surely were not the anwer for the future. Think of World War 1, 2 and so on. Those happened mainly because of the Nation states!
Have you read the treaty? have you read the draft? have you compared them?
I think most certainly not! You are nothing but a EU propaganda parrot that repeats their marketing newspeak.
From your smug and superior tone I conclude that you must think you're well informed. Alas you're just deluded, gullible, ignorant, petty, terrified bourgeois sheeple. The sort that votes the jackboots in and claps gleefully at them.
Never disagree, and obey to the powers that be! Ijeets!
Actually I did read it, I read lots of things related to my government and the EU in general.
I usually focus on broadcasting bills and research government proposals for lots of different things to make sure that they are doing the right thing.
I also communicate with my countries politicians when I find something which can be done better.
I am not spreading propaganda.
I understand the issues the EU member states face today whereas you think we are still living in the 50's, ur full of shit.
PS, calling bullshit is not acting superior, saying something like "deluded, gullible, ignorant, petty, terrified bourgeois sheeple" is acting superior.
I know I am well informed because I actually read the thing rather than jump to conclusions with people like you. I know I am well informed because I know what a media "tease" is and I know that that is what has been used by the no campaigners 99% of the time..
A tease is a headline which is worded in such a way that it does not explicitly tell you it is fact but 99% of people assume it is.
Words like "confused", "claim" etc are used in the headline.
The no campaigners were caught with their pants down lying to the public about minimum wages and thats why they lost in Ireland. People realized they were full of shit. People caught on to the "tease" headlines and realized if it were fact it would say so. No campaigners spread propaganda, not me.
What is the agenda with the EU? What will you have that you didn't have before?? What are you so afraid of? The EU could come crashing down as one unit. Seems a false sense of security to me-I see no real advantage. Actually too many factions and ethic populations not related in the least. National pride and accomplishment are degraded.
Bullshit, the EU is very protective of cultural diversity and that will not change. Take a look at europeana for example, a joint effort by eu states to aggregate and make available member states historic and culture for free.
The Lisbon treaty makes it easier to do things like collaborate on certain laws(copyright for example) so that its not as difficult to deliver content across all EU states as soon as possible. Its currently a mess which ends up excluding certain countries.
And just to clarify, collaborating on laws doesn't mean countries need to accept, they can decline too. It just means that The EU itself can propose standards and regulations which can benefit all EU member states.
Seriously I have spoken to my countries politicians and the EU commission about various different regulations and the conclusion that I arrived at was that the EU member states need to communicate and work together on certain things to ensure the best interest of the citizens.
The EU is not some evil corporate machine as some would have you believe. In fact the EU has done more than any other organization in battling monopolistic tenancies of corporations.
Corporations today are international and its not viable to have individual states work independently to protect citizens from corporations.
The Lisbon Treaty will help battle this and in turn help battle corruption in government bodies, think about it.. Where does corruption come from.. Corporations of course.
Basically open standards are a good thing, collaborating on regulations are a good thing for all member states and will increase interest in Europe from companies.
So more jobs and more services/products.
Collaboration also helps solve problems. How far would the esa have gotten without collaboration.
The lisbon treaty is great in so many things its impossible to list them all here but the majority of people apposed have no idea how the world actually works and what to actually be afraid of.
When falsehoods are used to bring about political change, especially change as radical as the political union of disparate nations, we must be very concerned. You sort of ranting prose MrMcQ2u does nothing to assure me, indeed the very opposite.
"falsehoods", "change", "radical" "disparate", "concerned", For anyone interested this is how you fear monger.
Just be precise with your wording and use negatives or false positives.
This guy says I don't assure him, If he spent time reading and taking any real interest in why government bodies exist he would be assured but instead he wants to fear monger on the internet.
Fear is the best way to control people, his nick is ironic as he is attempting to brainwash others. Don't be fooled.
Only fools can be fooled. I guess you must believe of them there is a great plethora of pro-EU fools in existence to need your protection from my wickedly conspiratorial 'anti-EU brainwashing campaign' and so very brilliantly exposed by you MrMcQ2u.
Hey, I am not the one who created an account especially for fear mongering, and If asking people to read rather than take my view or your view as fact is a bad thing then so be it.
You have about as much credibility in my view as people who claim man never landed on the moon.
You don't even have the balls to use your real account to spread this fud.
You are just someone hiding behind a mask, an anarchist using this as a means to spread your ideology.
Hi MrMcQ2u. I had one account that tackled a broad range of matters from the political corruption that is the EU, the death of Dr David Kelly, the false mandate for war in Iraq, the standards of policing in the US, illegitimate use of Taser, British and US use of torture and much more. That account was shut down without any reference from YouTube as to why & no response to my request for information as to why. That, my dear puppy, is why I have a topic specific EU channel. Live & learn.
As regards my being an anarchist I am not; I am an anti-EU activist who looks forward to the eventual destruction of this illegitimate construct. But I believe in the necessity of a 'small government' to help weld & operate the fabric of society. This should be one that is: of the people, for the people.
The deceitful means which the EU constantly employs to reach its objectives has caused it to form with an undemocratic constitution not originally conceived to be that of a sovereign entity.
Explain to me how having individual copyright laws for each EU state is useful.
Because when you look at the facts its delayed content from being distributed to EU countries, in some cases content is not released in certain states because the legal mess is so large its not financially viable to deploy across all of Europe.
The Lisbon treaty enables EU states to collaborate on things like copyright laws to make things more efficient, to make sure no one is left out and we get things asap.
The Silhouette judgement allowed what was a unique Austrian trademark law to become a pan-EU dictate. Now we cannot import goods from outside of the EU that have any kind of trademark or copyright without the permission of the brand holder in the EU. This is not in the interests of small business or the people. This just allows brand-holders to charge one price for the EU markets and as low a price as they wish outside & only they can import the goods from outside of the EU. That's fascism.
You don't tell us the truth either. Of course, they will do some good. "The tree of knowledge of good and evil" but the tree that Europe is eating from is NOT the "tree of life" And in any event, EVIL is disguised under "Good". Put fluoride in your water, that seems good, until you realise it is a "poison" that damages the nervous system!
you seemed to have forgotten that they basically have access to everyones military and can send them off to war without that countries permission and that in my opinion is a horrifying prospect.
The Union shall respect the equality of Member States before the Treaties as well as their national identities ... It shall respect their essential State functions, including ensuring the territorial integrity of the State, maintaining law and order and safeguarding national security. In particular, NATIONAL SECURITY REMAINS THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF EACH MEMBER STATE.
dont believe THOSE lies all that douchebag barrosso who i would dearly love to give what for. I also don't know how the rest of Europe will tolerate our ex PM and soon to be UNelected President Tony Blair as overlord of Europe but i bet it won't be good. I say we should go back to the trade agreement we signed upto
With large emerging economies like China, India and Russia, with the United States the small European countries will have an increasingly shrinking voice in the world, however if they are united they have a bigger influence in international politics protecting the interests of the member states.
Why was the president and the cabinet assasinated?
