Very nice performance... I like that it has bravura and some great touches of rubato... never heard it that way before and it sounds very fresh and brings out some details about which I was unaware... also a very 'romantic' performance (in the best sense)... and for the few wrong notes here and there, always remember what Arthur Schnabel said: "Who cares about a few slips on an ascent of Mt. Olympus." Great job, keep up the great work
Personally, I believe that he is the most professional of the "non-professional" pianists. He really captivates the audiencie. Don't ever leave the piano, and hope that you get the support from the youtube audience
What suggests he's not a true "professional," whatever that word may mean, apart perhaps from his attire? If he gets paid, he's a pro by definition, and in any case, piano might be his main gig, whether or not he's ever graced Carnegie hall.
This piece is often considered the most difficult of the 12, and you handled its intricacies with wonderful aplomb and lots of power. I like that your movements are quite economical, even in very demanding passages. The coda was ferocious - tremendous strength in the left hand. Well done on a great performance.
yeah like alil rubato in that 1:26 part w/e.. i dont know music speech O_o. anyway i like this, imo tho I like more passion. i mean you got alot of it so well but that lil section where you cross hands you kinda hammered it.. :) i like more soft touch on that section. very excellent job tho.
I'm sorry for being such a jerk. Now I have seen the light... Conleymon, that was a fantastic job, what piece is it? It's either debussy or some modern piece. Anyways, I'll make another piano video and this time, it'll be more "serious". So I hope you can forgive me.
There is a God, He is called "Mothaf***aPianoPlaya" and he is deleting and blocking my critical comments on his playing, because He is afraid and wants to have the Last Word...what He really needs is a GOOD PIANOTEACHER.
I like Lola's Astanova's version better...

feux follets is the hardest!!

Feux Follets is arguably the hardest, however, I would say this one comes in a close second (with Mazeppa, #4, being up there as well).

no, #12 is hardest after #5.

This comment has received too many negative votes show
srry but couple of things...
its too dry.. use more pedal.. too much rubato
ur tempo goes in and out... be more stable...
ur left hand is too loud.. listen to ur melody...

Sorry, but your points might be slightly more valid if your typing appeared to be even the least bit better than that of a third-grader.

Very nice playing. I love how you play the "processional theme" at 1:26 and at 3:54, a lot of pianists play this so metronomically.

yeah willzling is clearly a retard, and the video he posted is awful, horrible version of fantasie-impromptu, good work on this live performance!
