@trynextmonday I think you can get sharks by using "Animal Friendship" with a Native Chief. considering the shark is close enough o_O this person must've used the Map Editor to get them though.

@tom02061997 You won't mind helping me since I'm having the same problem as you did. Here's some problems. When I use atillery against buildings, I see some debris falling but the building is still the same as it is regardless how much cannon fire I'm putting in. Same goes with enemy ships in the water. Cannons firing at an enemy vessel and still see debris falling but the ship isn't changing a whole lot. Afterwards, fade and reveal ruins and ships disappear after heavy damage. Clue about this?

@Imperator360 Hi Imperator, your problem is that you have not activated HIGH POLY MODELS in the graphics options, once you do that you have damage visible on the unit/buildings/ships. Also, bloom effect and water reflection and terrain details can be activated to enrich the gaming experience!

@louisbarnesmusic Nothing does compare to total war. Infact its better to have nothing then a failed rts. Age of empires is better then nothing which is in turn twice as good as empire total war. Aoe 3 had better graphics despite being 4 years older and won many awards and was one of the best selling computer games of its time and practically the best rts of its time. Empire total war lives in the shadow of Rome total war...

@louisbarnesmusic Well Empire Total War goes deeper into the battlefield and tactics and what not. Age of Empires is more of a expanded look at things; they don't really focus on one thing, they sort of look at it as a whole, so when you focus in on one thing in the game; such as a ship battle, it will never look as good as the games that specialize in that thing. I like playing Age of Empires more, but the battles of Empire Total War are way more exciting to watch and play out.

@NeoSpeedfire It's an effect in the options menu. You turn it on for enhanced details. It effects the Buildings too... I forget what the option is but it's VERY nice to watch the enemy town center slowly being torn apart until final it collapses inwards. WAY better than waiting for it to slowly fad away.
