All of the Good Ones Are Taken is my favorite Ian Hunter record. I love this song. These are some somewhat rare and excellent photos of Ian. Thanks, Serpentine.
I had trouble recognizing Robert Plant at first among the pics, but I would like to know who the kid with the guitar is in the photo with Hunter and Plant.
The fact that this song only has 1800 hits after being posted for two years makes me smile. If only the world knew what they were missing huh?

Thank you sf.
I have a friend who used to talk a lot about Whiskeytown. Maybe I'll give them a listen.

Strangely it's another great musician who I listen to alot, ex- Whiskeytown frontman Ryan Adams. not Bryan Adams, no no.

Great song. I also love Seeing Double off the same record.

Ian is THE man! I have seen him live a number of times, with and without the late Mick Ronson. I was also lucky enough to see Mott the Hoople live.

Better and meatier than the Monkees that's for sure. Thanks for posting.
