This sounds to me like the original version on the disc "Getz & Gilberto", in which the song is sung by Joao Gilberto with his wife Astrud singing it in English in the middle - but, for this repackaged version, they've cut out all the bits with Joao singing! I'm sure its the same recording - the Stan Getz sax riffs are very distinctive.

Yes, it's the same recording as the "Getz/Gilberto" version with Joao Gilberto starting off the song singing the Portuguese verses. But that version is over 5-minutes long, way to long for a single back in the day. So for the single (which is this version) they cut Joao's part altogether, and cut 4/5ths of Stan Getz' long mid-song sax solo too.
