there was a patch for witcher to solve a bug where having the 3d driver installed dropped fps a lot. patch everything (including your onboard gfx to make sure it is switching to nvidia) to latest
@masteriw make sure that ubersampling, multi sampling and vsync are off, if that dose not work...u can try to update you graphic card's driver...another thing...your laptop should be in high performance power plan!
guys i have a monster of a comp.and it still had some lag on ultra but then i deleted nvidia 3d vision driver and nvidia 3d vision controller!and then i get around 50-60 fps!100 p. working!!
@bole316 excuse if this is legit with every game? how do i uninstall it and does it apply to all your games? because i have it even though my card doesent support it. Help would be appreciated!
@MrGibl3ts i dunno-i have only deleted nvidia 3d vision cause of the witcher 2 lag-i suppose it makes a difference for all games,but im not sure about that,exept for witcher 2.you get 20 FPS more when u delete nvidia 3D vision,so,hope that this helped you :)
@scavengedfantasyname i've played on every settings ...fps is the same 15-25 max 30 fps... without ubersampling and with ubersampling 5-6 fps...with latest driver from nvidia "270.61-notebook-win7" ...even with the beta driver, "275.27-notebook-win7" i get the same fps...so i think we need a new driver or this game in just not for notebooks...
@cyb221100 This game can be played fine on notebooks, it just requires a lot more power to play faster. I get 45-50 fps on mine at 1920 x 1080 mixture of high and medium settings.

@cyb221100 yep, its good notebook, but i had one srs problem, it wont hibernate.. just stop working, and i had to reinstall windows and its working again (but for how long), you got your book for really damn cheap price, its price with tax included ? i7 is way better than i5.. and i think that i7 version have 2gb of mem. on graph. card
@aminqo 649euro was the price(three weeks ago) tax included and windows 7 home premium. it's a great store and once in a while it has the best deals,like this,but there are only about 10-15 pieces on sale. i7 is a quad core processor..so it's better..and yes,the gpu comes with 2GB of memory but i think that core i5 config is way equilibrated than i7... in 3d mark vantage P3893 GPU3101 CPU16659 so...it is better than my desktop processor(phenom II 955 3.4 ghz oc) but the gpu is bottlenecking...

multi sampling, do you mean anti-alising. because i couldnt find the setting multi sampling on the launcher.

How can you get it to run so well?

@DarkRAPRon try updating the game. it originally included an anti piracy exe that severely slowed down the game.
