Yeah I know what you mean, but at the same time I wasn't really expecting anything from this video either. FMA would be a really hard series to adapt into movie form anyway, or rather any fantasy/shonen series would be difficult to adapt since you'd need to compress a huge amount of material into about a 2 hour running time and still make it accessible to people who aren't a fans of the source material. Certainly not an easy balancing act.

It's quite a good try I think ^^ I liked the original parts with Trisha and small Elrics, that was just too sweet and now I feel like fan art xD The CG part with Al disappearing was pretty well done, although the last few clips were a little too rushed, I felt.

And I actually really liked the fact that you chose the captain from Pan's Labyrinth as Mustang!! It's interesting when typecast goody characters or actors get cast for the opposite role than you'd expect, even if this is a fan trailer.

It's a shame because the filmmaker was thinking of doing a sequel of this but of Ed and Al's time on the island. And no, I don't think this guy is the same one who made the original, he seems to be foreign and the username is different.
