I agree with you... the Drummer destroys much, but also the Bass-Girl did, look at her fingers - she's not really in it, that makes the whole thing absolutely not laid-back. the Guitarrist should also play more the "usual rhythm", probably he did, but I haven't heard it - and also at the Beginning the Horn Section was a bit dissonant.

I think it would have been cool if the Guitarist played the Violin Part ..

Here's what I don't understand. It's a school band. The point of being in the band is to become a good player. So they go and lame up the song and make it sound like crap? Why? Why not play it like the original? The original is difficult. Isn't that the point, play difficult stuff so that you become better? They so completely dumbed it down. Especially the drumming. It's a disgrace.
