there is a sniper gearbox when u get another piece of the puzzel mission where i kill rahk hive go to new haven and find the guy that u find the dirty magazines for and the builing in the direction he is facing the door will open now and u take an elevator down and there is a christmas tree and 2 weapon chest one has the rider which is the gearbox sniper but with no scope

i dont get why gearbox weps are so highly praised. So its made by the developers? So its rare? It's the same as any normal gun except cool colors and rare manfacturerr. (cant spell it). I have 20 gearbox modded rifles shotguns and smgs. if u want one my GT is lilila

Your smg is legit. All my smgs are maxed out in price. And they aren't even pearlescent like yours, just level 69 rares. Orange or purple! I got a Desert Anarchy, 192 dmg times four (768) with a fire rate of 16.5 per second! It's like 13,000 damage per second. Found them all in the Armoury...there's a glitch that lets you go through the armoury without setting off the bomb, and you can go again and again if you don't complete the quest, which is completed by setting off the bomb. Convenient, no?

@chrish847 Probably since the game uses WillowTree a randomizer to spawn weapons in-game but the problem is that they probably added new parts for weapons in the DLCs so I'd say get them just to be safe.

the only gearbox wepon i got is the "rider" and u can only get it in new haven if u are on the quest "another piece of the puzzle" . while on that quest go up to a little blue house and the door will open. take the elevator down fight some enemies and open the chest. it will be in the chest every single time you go down :)

Most good SMGs are max money, but I don't remember the gearbox SMG being a Melevolent Stinger. But if you play as Lilith you'll find a lot of max SMGs. Also, Masher type revolvers SMASH crawmerax. Lol.

@MrDarkheartz1 to answer you question to mod guns is to make them ridiculously stronger than you find legit in game, either by changing the name i.e. shredder, rage, etc. or by swapping parts with rare parts of the same family of weapons like sniper barrel with a stronger sniper barrel.

The circle of duty, which is the third circle after the circle of death and the circle of slaughter, is in the third DLC of Borderlands "The secret armory of General Knoxx", in the northern part of the Sunken Sea. In this Circle you must defeat many waves of Crimson Lance soldiers and if you complete the last one you get a Gearbox weapon, depending on your character class.
