  • I just wanted to see if he could sell me on it and even he is like yea whatever dude it ain't a 6 plus beginner bike lol fuck that I bought a 05 gsxr 750 and rode it out like a man

  • does anybody know whats the return policy for a motorcycle?

i just got a brand new 2012 NINJA 250r 2 days ago and wanted to know if i could return it i put 0 down and i havent picked it up from the dealership yet.

i know i should have though about insurance and other fees and costbefore i signed all the paperwork thats the reason i want to return its because insurance (im 18) and it was almost $ 7,000

    someone please help

  • @MARKSALOT559 That is rough, man. If the vehicle has not been legally transferred to you, then it is not your problem. The dealer may whine and wail, but that is their problem.

  • I want a 250 kawasaki so baaad. But i know i wont be getting one for a long time cuz its i need to take the test and i need the money for it. Is it okay if i dont have a motorcycle liscense? XP

  • @Officialbadassbacon yeah, you can buy one with no problem...but take the written test and get your permit just to be on a safer side.......always wear your helmet...

  • why can't they create a 250 supersports bike!! I really want to buy a bigger bike but the 125r from yamaha has not enough power and the 600ccm are to expensive. and the 250 that are on the market right now are looking like something between a naked and a sport bike :(

  • In Poland, you can drive only 125cc when u r 18. If want to have bigger moto, u got to be 24. Lol. It sucks.

  • @perspektyw94 its ok. just save the money first

  • Ok so I might be getting this bike to ride around in until I graduate from high school and move back to europe (a year and a half). My question is: Is it acceptable to ride with a protective leather jacket, a helmet and gloves but just with regular jeans and shoes? I know that full gear is the best option but I might not be able to do that..

  • @Plamen2007 I don't know,if you have to do that according to the Highway Code of the country you live, but theoretically i think if the weather is fine you can wear anything you want.In my country(Greece),people on motorbikes(including ninjas),during the warm months, don't wear special gears...

  • @penoulilini I'm in the States, Atlanta to be exact : ) Lol, I'm originally from Bulgaria and I've been to Greece a few times. I've seen how you crazy motherfuckers ride there haha

  • @Plamen2007 I rode my 500 honda (my 1st bike) once in a while with shorts and a t shirt. I do know that it wasnt the smartest thing to do, but I live in the city and never even got over 40mph.

I would def recommend the gear, but if you cant afford it, dont worry so much. just do what you can and be that much more of a better driver. if your in a very urban area where you wont be going that fast anyway, i say go ahead. just up your safety level to 12. (it should always be at 11).

  • shame its so small

  • This is beginner bike..dont get fool..

  • ni e

  • kawa 250r is a bitch bike...u want a sportbike with sportbike power get sumthin with a 600cc or more..

  • @BiGMiKe314 Look out, we've got a badass here! Big Mike's gonna tell you what bike to buy!

  • @DocBlasto not even....y get a sportbike the same speed as a scooter?

  • @BiGMiKe314 you want to race any scooter of your chosing vs a 250 ninja? I doubt it. sure its a small bike, but its supposed to be ya dumb fuck. Its for beginners.

Ohh but my 1st bike was a 1100 hayabusa you fucking pussies!... grats. compare dicks somewhere else loser.

  • Nice video, I'm 22 and I'm going to learn how to ride a bike soon and was thinking about first bike ideas, I like the sporty looking and sounding ones so this caught my eye.

I love the look of the CBR 600RR but I heard that's a bad idea for first bike because of things like the riding position et.

At about 2:18 what does he mean by the 'rake' or something?

  • @ninja6kid you're annoying

  • I am 6'9 and i was wondering if i would fit on it, since i am extremely tall :P

  • @brandsmanators I'd personally go with a 650r. It's more of a bigger bike and you'll get tired of the 250. Trust me, it happened to me.

  • thinking about buying one of these. why does it sound like a scooter though, in this video

  • never mind...

  • is this a good bike for a starter?

  • @kkrsreeshi yeah

  • Im buying a new one from the dealer.

  • i want either this or the 650. any other models i should look into? new to this whole bike thing. maybe even a low-compression engine (i know this isn't). i just need some guidance. new to bikes, commuting to work and college. help?

  • Just get an sv650 instead you wont ever get bored and they cost half the price?

  • that is one sexy bike, the best thing is that they are so damn cheap, only 5 grand for the new 250r!!

  • I'm also getting one ~3~

  • When I get my full licence I'm definately getting one of these. I'm not ready for anything bigger yet. This bike is fast enough for the motorway and I'll still be able to control it in inner city traffic.

  • @gwl1983 Same situation man.

  • 250 is the max you can have till you are 21 it think it is here in england im only 14 but im already saving up for it for when im 17 i know people who own these and they are ace

  • @zephy1001 No it's not. It's about the hp.

  • @pandalolol 33bhp isnt it sorry about that comment i was misinformed by a freind

  • @zephy1001 34 I guess.

  • I have owned a 2010 ninja 250r Special edition for a while and all i can tell you is that it is very confy, has enough horsepower to pass any car on the freeway, you actually have to do a lot of shifting given the gear ratio but its ok since it is a nice bike, it gets over 50 mpg, and it can go about 100 miles per hour on the freeway, of course i tested this on a empty freeway. i am not a jackass.

  • are these bikes a really good starter bike ? its 6500 or i can get a 600cc for 11500 what do youguys think?

  • @acemanmusle Start on a 250 for sure, 600 is too much power to start out on unless it's a single. 250's are brilliant for learners and you really won't outgrow it too fast either.

  • I've got the Special Edition 09 Ninja. I'm 5'5 and130 lbs so I guess its average for a woman. This bike is just as quick as the bigger boys in the twists and legal speeds, (freeways are boring) plus I really like that I can have both feet flat on the ground and that it's super light for whipping around. You should totally get one for your girlfriend, she'll love it and its not just a girls bike either, its great for all beginners.

  • my girl friend is 5 feet tall, would this be good for her? let me know i really want to get her something she can fit on properly

  • @byronb365 yeah this would be great for her. im five ft 6 and i fiT

  • How much would insurance would be for a 17 year old in flordia for a ninja 250r

  • @Blackdude48 a fucking lot

  • @Blackdude48 Hhaahhahahahhaahahahahah, let me put it this way, Its cheaper to pay the bill of the accident. jk, maybe not.... lol

  • No man with sizeable genitals would chose to invest his money into a 250 for himself, ever.

  • @jjenningsoh

or maybe ur genitals arent big enough for a 250

  • @jjenningsoh nsr 250

  • @jjenningsoh Where I am you cant ride anything over a 250cc for the first 12 months you have a licence so some of us just have to carry our over sized genitals on a 250 to start with.

  • @scottclements78 Me too, do you live in texas?

  • @Mrlild2341 Nah mate, I come from a land down under.

  • This thing is perfect for a college town where the vast majority of motored two-wheelers are 50cc scooters. If you take this on the highway a lot, then you're better off with a larger engine.

  • These are slow as shit, just sayin.

  • @Kamissick ur an idiot they will beat most cars anyday

  • @htfhtfdyhrty

They will not beat my evo, and they will lose almost against any crotch rocket cause they have a 250cc engine idiot.

my dirt bike can probably beat one of these.

  • @Kamissick You should really be careful about your statements because some uneducated person might actually think you know what you are talking about but we know you don't.

  • @Kamissick Never seen one or touched one huh. It really shows or you would not make such an ignorant and uneducated statement

  • I'm getting one of these when I get 18 ! Sadly it will be restricted to 30 hp... I might remove the restriction though. I'm getting a Cagiva Mito 125cc next year (I'm 16), and unrestricted it has 28 hp, so I'm not sure if want to get a bigger bike, with the same amount of HP. Even if it is illegal to unrestrict it.

  • @ neomuttley A moped??

  • Why would a sportbike magazine review a moped???

  • whats difference between special edition and the normal 2011???

  • @POTTTOOOO The special edition is always a special color and less are produced. Those are the only differences.

  • Ive got the 2011 Special edition, I would recommend them to anyone

  • @sikunt91 what's the diference between normal 2011 and special edition

  • i am all up fr buying this bike, my only problem is that i think Honda cbr 250 is slightly better in looks department, what d you think guys?

  • for around town should i get this or the klx 250s?

  • fck car or bike ,,, ???? car or bike ... ?

  • it sucks to be poor. like 3rd world country poor. :(

  • @arenarreyes its alight bro, if you rlly want one strive for it. you'l get it eventually

  • that color is ugly, a good dark-ish blue would be great, or about any other color

  • @thatguy1252 Funny, I was just thinking how perfect the color was. To each their own, I suppose!

  • Kawasaki Ninja 250R has good performence but.................. the honda cbr 250r beats him in all things.. the best bike you will take in both is cbr 250r

  • @vishwajeeth007 What exactly does the new 2011 CBR beats the Kawa Ninja?

The Ninja looks better (personal opinion), sounds better (twin > single), drives faster,...

The Honda though has the better technical specs, ABS for example.

The old Honda CBR 250RR had an amazing sound, but the new one now has just one cylinder, formerly four (!).

  • i got mine on craigslist for 3800 :D

  • dose someone elses motorcycles or scooters plates screw go missing sometimes like fall off it happened 2 times in one day and 1 time before has that kinda stuff happened to someone else or someone turnt there left or right signal on ?

  • I'm going to sell my ford ranger and get one of these!

Going back to school full time and need to save on gas and don't want to deal with traffic!

  • this was so gay he didnt even rip it

  • a new ninja in my country... (denmark) cost 13.602,80 usd.... my country is so unfair.... but gonna get the cash anyway ;)

  • @ThunderWindz dedicated. i give you props for that. over here i can buy one used for 2500 dollars easily, for 08-10 model. and im 15 so i only make 700/ month. but im saving

  • i'm gonna start saving to get this bike..lol

  • people always argue about whether or not this bike is fast - it depends on how you ride it

check out this vid of a guy actually riding it hard:

    watch?v=takQqiCdUTw

  • if you you want a fast learners bike get a honda cbr250rr 45 hp not like the new bikes with only 29hp

  • I am thinking about getting one, what do you guys think ?

  • @GeraldineAlcius It's a great first bike for a beginner, and there's a HUGE amount of aftermarket parts for it coming out of Indonesia because of their tax penalties on bigger bikes.

Everything from CNC Aluminum bling kits, to turbo kits, to 40+ different exhaust brands, to carbon fiber everything, and even full bodykits to make it look like another bike completely.

So if you choose to stick with the 250 instead of upgrading ASAP, you'll have no shortage of ways to customize it.

  • @GeraldineAlcius

gOOD Luck with it !! GO GO GO

  • @GeraldineAlcius

I had a friend who had one. He rode it on the freeway for hours on hours and said it never hurt the thing. He called it a real-world bike compared to a 600rr

  • @GeraldineAlcius get it

  • @GeraldineAlcius

Good beginners bike, if you're more experience get Yamaha YZF-R1.

  • @GeraldineAlcius get it..its an awesome bike i would love to have one too!!!

  • Can someone who's a beginner, 6'6 250lbs ride this bike comfortably?

  • @TheNobleBard probably not bro not cuz of ur weight but height its goin to be hard to find a bike to fit a guy that big i mean iv seen it happen but they were on a busa stretched

  • @TheNobleBard From what I've read, there's a guy in the ninjette forums who's 6'2 and 300 pounds and has no problems other than needing a bigger windshield, which could easily be remedied by a Zero Gravity Double Bubble or the Sport Touring model.

  • I´m thinking of buying this bike, at the moment i own a TZR 50cc, and i think it´s the right step to move to this bike, alot of friends moved up to 600cc most didn´t do so bad but i think it´d be better to take it easy and go for the 250cc first, if anyone here has experience on htis or has had the same doubts as me if you can help me out make my decision.

  • @rmcld If you want to step up to a higher cc bike I would def say...don't pick a 600 cc Ninja. It's actualy not an easy bike to ride because you'll find it dull and boring in the low rpms and you'll want to drive it in high rpms all the time. That is not a good idea if you'r a beginner. I'd recommend a 750 - 800 cc bike over a 600cc anyday. Kawasaki' Z750 or BMW F 800 series are alot easier to drive. I don't like 250 cc because of the nagging sound they make.

    That's my oppinion.

  • @Iron883Man Thank´s, well i never had that idea but, i really wanted to keep driving sports bike, you´re right about the noise lol, but yeah, i have no idea what´ll do...

  • WoW!!!!!

  • WoW!!!!!

  • I just bought mine today!!! I f-ing love it! Got mine in blue!

  • @baymarine01 could you fit a passanger on that

  • hey im 17 and thats the bike im getting from aprilla at the top of my road, my ones got a monster energy paint job its pretty nice :) cant wait to finish paying it off

  • /watch?v=km7SWIuunjU

  • NO GREEN IN CANADA FML!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i will own one of these one day :)

  • @06DRender save up, work hard and you'll get it soon :)

  • seriously this bike in Indonesia is considered as a big bike..its not a poor country i lived in Jakarta and this bike is the 1# selling bikes in the world. Man really hate when comments goes to "250cc only? for kids, for women, get a 600cc, haha only 34cv?" just fuck that people. Im 23, I race a lot back then (2stroke) and im getting this bike in France...

  • nice video

    Portogear inc.

offering a complete range of motorcycle custom made garments

  • 61 MPG. End of story.

  • I don't understand why some people make a big deal about not wanting a 250cc. For me, I'm not going to be going more than 10 miles over the speed limit anyway.

  • do these need lots of maintenance

  • @assasinsINC minimum maintainance needed, great allrounder

  • I thought about getting this bike for myself as a beginner because it's cheap and doesn't look too powerful which is good in my opinion. My friends who are bikers say I should go for a 650 or around that to start...what do you guys say? I'm 5'9" and about 180lbs. Pretty average and I'm in my young 20's.

  • hold on a second the old one didn't tell you how much fuel you had?!

  • @BALJIT147 I would assume (as a non-bike rider) that you could open the fuel tank and figure for yourself.

  • Kawasaki really needs to make this bike fuel injected in the U.S. and also make a new version of the old zxr250!!

  • The problem I hae with the Ninja 250R is there is nowhere to carry anything on it... short of maybe a backpack on the gas tank hump or your back. No saddle bags, no canvas bag to slip over a sissy bar, nothing. My 25 year old Honda Rebel is a fucking mule. I can load it up with a duffle bag upright on the passenger seat, a backpack on the gas tank, saddlebags which I have but don't need, and tool bags behind headlight and taillight. 90% of my runs are grocery store runs; so Ninja = Fail

  • @cobrachoppergirl your not supposed to carry anything on it, don't compare a 250R to a Rebel.

  • i want one so badly !!!!

  • People who get 1000 or even 600's as a first bike are generally tossers. Why would you buy a race bike as a first bike? Losers. You learn how to ride on a 250, or even a 125. Find any shit riders and usually they have one thing in common...they started on a 600 or something even more powerful to try and be cool. 250's outhandle 600's anyway. It's funny when i go to the track, I see all these people riding 600's and 1000's but yet some bloke on a 20year old 400cc absoloutley destroys them.

  • 2011 250R is my first bike!! :) thumbs up to women riders!

  • only pussies start on 250s. and honda shits all over kawasakis.

  • @axellness You need to prove that only pussies start out on 250s.

  • @axellness I know a guy that rides a Ninja 250 and out rides most people on 1000 supersports on the backroads. Starting out on a supersport bike proves you suck a riding backroads and think you are cool because you can only go fast on the highway.

  • Mafia... i weigh 150 and can easily take my ninja 250r up to 100. 110 though requires an open road and a mile.

  • @Mafia10J I see your post more as an agreement to mine actually.

It was a character thing, too much too soon without taking it slow!

If you want to have throttle fun from day one get a 250 or even 125!

But if you are a conscious rider and are willing to REALLY take your time the first year to slowly get to know your bike there is no problem to start with a 1000 imo.

But in the the cases you wrote about I agree that they should've bought 250s, although out of different reasons! :)

    Bye

  • @eXcalibooor I started from the very first day with a CBR1000RR! It's an outdated thought that experience is everything, more important is the character of the person! If I always put the throttle to the max I'm gonna have troubles even with a 250...but if I ride slow the first year its no problem even to start with a Busa! But I respect your opinion and choose to see it differently! Take care! :)

  • Luv this fast ninja. I had a ninja back in 1988

  • If you got the full licence, and want to ride sportbikes, think about getting 600-1000ccm!

best way to learn to drive with 1000ccm motorcycles is to start driving on one and take it slow!

for all people that havent got the full license yet: Cant go wrong with the r250, nice little bike!

    bye

  • @muaythai193 WTF are you talking about, start driving on a 1000ccm??? You can't put a beginner on a 1000ccm. The 250R is best for first-time riders.

  • i'm gonna get this just to troll everyone who says i should get a 600

  • Great bike, I have a 05, am 160 lbs and this bike has plenty of power, its the smallest CC bike I have owned out of 4, I got rid of my 04 F4i 600 cause I dont know how to take it easy, I like speed (plus we were moving) so I sold it and a year later got a 250R, PLENTY of power and very nimble, easy to work on too.

  • starting at a 600 is really no problem

  • @iiTzRea7373 so... go work and pay for it.... or u are just another daddy's son.......?

  • @1scott921 better than being the one dad hates like failure son

  • @MrJumbolegz if your dad doesn't want to buy you a motorcycle that doesn't mean he hates u... fucktard. he just doesn't want to spoil you, u must get your working habbits on time and be aware that money isn't falling from the sky, or u won't pass good in life. got it? the funny thing is - most failure sons... are daddys sons bec they don't know how to be respomsible later in life.. your daddy ain't gonna be here forever

  • @1scott921 Hell yeah!

  • Awesome bike my hommie!

  • i think this bike is good, but way the kawasaki out from gp??????

  • Thanks for the cool vid - helped me decide to buy a new ninja 2 days ago! Check out my first video of it by searching my name "kstoyel"

    Keep up the good work!

  • Did they make the speedo more accurate? My 2003 is off by 5mph at 45.

  • i just got my ninja 250r 2011.My first byke.I am so happy.

  • @javancape u sure are very lucky dude...i'm saving hard now to get this bike....:(

  • @BoraSed1907 US - oklahoma

  • You become a better driver if you start small and work your way up, + its more fun. You can be a mentalcase on a 250cc and do whatever you want and LEARN. If you buy a 1000 for a first bike you will be a pussy on it and ride like a.. yes.. pussy. Dont say "im gonna take it slow" because how fun is that on a bike? They are heavy do. A 250cc smokes the 1000 in corners, and they can practice gettin their knee down, whilst on a 1000 you will be afraid to crash your expensive bike..

  • I have a few questions if anyone would like to answer, i have never ridden a motorcylce before, im think about getting one of these cus ive heard they are great beginner bikes, im 19, a college student, and need it to get to both college and work, both are about 10 miles from my house, how fast does this bike go? can it handle the freeway? Will i regret buying it once i get better at riding motorcyles? At such a low $4,000 MSRP, im kind of scared that "cheap price = cheap bike" is that true?

  • @superlink235

I hear plenty of positive reviews on this bike. I can't remember what max speeds are out of this but definitely over 100 mph(maybe 110-115 tops?). The bike is rated 61mpg if your ride normal, it's a great commuter bike but it also has enough power to be really fun!

  • So to round up. Its an all new bike. Thnks

  • Can you still pop a wheelie in a 250R? I can pull wheelies on my friends 2006 Honda VFR Interceptor 800 cc but I want to buy my own bike and start small.

  • @BoraSed1907 nah my dad could get it for probally 1000$

  • Song name?? :)

  • So apart from the Ninja 250r, what are some other great beginner 250cc sportbikes that can be found used?

  • imma get this when im 14>:)

  • @kaylerick I know I wish the back tire was wider.

  • @asause68 it most certainly would.

  • shut up with the stupid fucking music and let us hear the engine.

  • What is the song on this video in the background? jw..

  • rode it today and i love it

  • whats a good starting bike im 6'2" and weigh 185 pounds?

  • This is the bike that most 17 year old want for their first

  • @pikachuzero And what? It's a good starting bike for any age.

  • @pikachuzero I'm 17 and I'm getting one. Haha

  • @pikachuzero LOL not the 17 year olds i live with. they all want 600cc or 1000cc bikes :(

  • @pikachuzero

and you sound like a fag that likes to impress guys by riding bigger bikes

  • @oHU22ICANEo Did I say I want to ride a bigger bike and impress people? Read the comment again fucken retard.

  • @pikachuzero

ohhh ok what did u mean then by sayn its for 17 yr olds?

  • @oHU22ICANEo im saying that most 17 year old i know want to get this bike, it's an easier bike to start out with.

  • @pikachuzero

what does that have to do with 17 year olds? many beginners like starting out with this bike too.... its a fast bike you dont need to go 200 anywhere

  • @oHU22ICANEo ok look here u nubcake, hes just saying his friends that are mostly 17 want that bike...i dont get why the fuck ur arguing about it...-_-

  • @oHU22ICANEo I'm 17 and i want it bad!! hahaha, not that im arguing or anything, just thought it was funny how the pikachu dude was right lol

  • @oHU22ICANEo Way to Ruin the comment...

  • @oHU22ICANEo Lol, it's so true. Especially if your on regular roads, the most speed limit is like 40-60 KM/H. so really, scooters would be perfect.

  • @oHU22ICANEo fast bike? are you kidding? my dirtbike goes faster than this
