Loved this game although I kinda wish the combat system had been as smooth as ToS's.

The thing is this not a mothership tales game so because of that it's not that bad of a game. I personally enjoyed it even though it can touch the original. Tenebrae and Marta are pretty funny and the battle system is still fun. Not bad for a spinoff title which namco call escort tales games.

1. Emil's ratatosk mode is awesome

Well, at least they managed to make Richter, a far more ambitious villain than most Tales of standards and probably the one who had the best reason for wanting to destroy EVERYTHING. Also, this one had some good side villains as well, almost as good as TotA ones

Ive watched the Tales of symphonia tethe'alla arc, and this one and that opening are the best. The composers know what Tales Fans want even for America. My girlfriend gave it a C+ becuase of the japanes girl singing. Personally its becuase ive turn it up with speaker phone loud, so she can hear it. I think when she shouts is the best part, and its hard to shout loud
