@UncannyRicardo first they claim the blotches, I discredited that due to the fact certain parts of the gallaxy are more stable and durable than others and ki engulfs fighters and objects all the time taking varying amounts of time to disintegrate them.

And the movie took place after the time chamber so Goku is a fpSSJ Gohan as well but he hasn't awakened his potential yet, and Vegeta and trunks would have been at least at the level they were after there first time chamber trip.
@UncannyRicardo Finally as for the SS2 Gohan thing in movie ten it is shown his hair style and eye formation was SS2 style in the movie, also other times in movies electricity was forgotten as well so well it’s debatable it is more likely he was SS2 for two reasons, one he would have been squashed as SS1 fighting Solo and 2 the art style baring forgetting electricity was all SS2.

Actually just like Shineman said, the little scene of the galaxy could have just been for special affects. Its really simple. Why would the creators show a galaxy disappearing only to later say its still under attack and claim its only 99% gone? And ofcourse have gone to make the movie in that exact same galaxy.
Again I dont think it really ever stated how much of the galaxy was destroyed, only that it was being destroyed.
It would have just been much easier to say the galaxy was gone and now Broly was heading to the Z fighters galaxy. And ofcourse had the fight take there. But since they didn't say that Broly destroyed the galaxy, nor imply he could one shot it, it is likely he can't.
But the thing is that I kinda think its just speculations trying to save other speculations by those rebutals.

Seeing the Legendary Super Saiyan destroying multiple civilizations, it would seem ok for King Kai to take notice. I mean even Freiza was considered the strongest in the universe, and he aint shit compared to the later fighters.

Since like Shineman said there is nothing that inherently implies a contradiction the belief that the opening scene was a special effects. I mean you want to argue that the creators went as far as to make a TINY FEW dots remain to symbolize thousands of planets, while I simply say it was for show. Nothing big there.

FPSSJ was no were near Perfect Cell's power. Remember Cell didn't fully power up until facing ssj2 Gohan, and they even mentioned his power and speed had gone up significantly with that.

Also Cells endurance is shown as below Brolys when Cell has his top half blown off by Goku's kamehameha in a fatal injury baring his regen and Brolly is completly undamaged when hit by it.
But this is why I believe mine is much more likely. Since it not only answers the movie but also appears to keep much more with the story (without Broly being a galaxy buster it causes LESS contradictions than if he did) and with the creator's intentions.
HOWEVER ill end it here cause this type of DBZ argueing (going far into minor details) caused us to leave the real arguement.
BUT most of all I would say I am leaving because I just dont think this debate is for the truth.

I believe my view not only explains the movie just aswell but also fits more closely to the real story (or atleast is more in line with what the creators had in mind). I dont think I said very little, I only said we have no real idea of how much of it has been destroyed by Broly. But probubly not any planets or stars. Considering that it appeared Broly was interested in attacking planets with civilizations (I believe the only damage we ever saw of him were to planets with people), that means he didn't destroy full planets. Let alone go to uninhabited ones (or stars).
Neither Trunk's nor Vegita's punches could even knock Cell around, let alone Piccolo. Broly defeating all 3 of them easily really ain't saying much. Especially if Cell was not even any where near powered up to his potential.
Goku was knocked out by Vegito and was visibly worn out, even though he still could have gone ssj3 and ended the fight in a second. Cell being damaged for not going full out aint saying much.

As a ssj3, Goku wouldn't be hurt for shit by Majin Vegeta. Since Majin Vegeta couldnt even hurt Fat Buu. However if Goku fought in his ssj2 form he could be hurt badly even if he had the power (or ability) to go ssj3.
So this means that Cell was tired from fighting Goku not because Goku had enough power to hurt him, but because Cell let him. Had Cell gone full out from the beginning he probubly could have beat all the Z fighters just as easily (if not more so) than Broly.
@UncannyRicardo thx for clarifying however I do agree your premis is correct the comparison is not, Goku SS3 compared to Goku SS2 is a much vaster power diffrence than Cell Perfect form as he fought Goku and Cell Perfect Form Full Power. We know Cell did at least as much powering up against Goku as he did afterward against SS2 Gohan, Cell even States he will fight seriously against Goku and powers up on a few occasions during the fight, he used at least half his power against Goku.

Actually just like Shineman said, the little scene of the galaxy could have just been for special affects. Its really simple. Why would the creators show a galaxy disappearing only to later say its still under attack and claim its only 99% gone? And ofcourse have gone to make the movie in that exact same galaxy.
Again I dont think it really ever stated how much of the galaxy was destroyed, only that it was being destroyed.

It would have just been much easier to say the galaxy was gone and now Broly was heading to the Z fighters galaxy. And ofcourse had the fight take there. But since they didn't say that Broly destroyed the galaxy, nor imply he could one shot it, it is likely he can't.

@UncannyRicardo Cell later wailed on Gohan who wouldn't fight back for the longest time however Gohan sustained no disabiling injury and even dodged many attacks and landed a visibly damaging hit on Cell knocking him over showing he had the ability to keep up with him if he were to fight back. Also Cells endurance is shown as below Brolys when Cell has his top half blown off by Goku's kamehameha in a fatal injury baring his regen and Brolly is completly undamaged when hit by it.

But this is why I believe mine is much more likely. Since it not only answers the movie but also appears to keep much more with the story (without Broly being a galaxy buster it causes LESS contradictions than if he did) and with the creator's intentions.

Neither Trunk's nor Vegita's punches could even knock Cell around, let alone Piccolo. Broly defeating all 3 of them easily really ain't saying much. Especially if Cell was not even any where near powered up to his potential.
Goku was knocked out by Vegito and was visibly worn out, even though he still could have gone ssj3 and ended the fight in a second. Cell being damaged for not going full out aint saying much.

As a ssj3, Goku wouldn't be hurt for shit by Majin Vegeta. Since Majin Vegeta couldnt even hurt Fat Buu. However if Goku fought in his ssj2 form he could be hurt badly even if he had the power (or ability) to go ssj3.
So this means that Cell was tired from fighting Goku not because Goku had enough power to hurt him, but because Cell let him. Had Cell gone full out from the beginning he probubly could have beat all the Z fighters just as easily (if not more so) than Broly.

@UncannyRicardo thx for clarifying however I do agree your premis is correct the comparison is not, Goku SS3 compared to Goku SS2 is a much vaster power diffrence than Cell Perfect form as he fought Goku and Cell Perfect Form Full Power. We know Cell did at least as much powering up against Goku as he did afterward against SS2 Gohan, Cell even States he will fight seriously against Goku and powers up on a few occasions during the fight, he used at least half his power against Goku.

Even then he survived. And FPSSJ Gohan alone was at least on par with perfect Cell.

Actually i believe it can refer to both silver age and bronze age, since they are both "Pre Crisis, before the the crisis comics". And if im correct some of the feats attributed to Pre Crisis Superman are sometimes crossed between both, but im not to sure.

Superman is not effected by Kai, it is not apart of his weaknesses, the most Ki would do is bother superman no more then a Bug Bite or less, and as far as all out Physical strength, the DBU greatly lack in that as well, Superman, Doomsday, Darkseid, Galactus etc they all are far beyond in terms of Physical strength as well.

@SSJRyu1 The thing you fail to realize is that Superman's Invulnerability works in Mysterious ways, for example certain kinds of attacks have different effects on him, now a Magic blast from an extremely powerful Magician such as Dr. Strange would be far more effective then a high powered blast of Ki from Super Vegito, do you get the picture? probably not. And Superman can control the effectiveness of his Invulnerable Aura, like when Doomsday first hit Superman and Superman didn't even budge.

@SSJRyu1 Superman has controlled his Invulnerable Aura in a lot of battles, even beings that rival him in physical strength are stopped by his Invulnerability, Superman's body reacts in amazing ways and he rebounds from powerful attacks very quickly and he also has unmatched stamina which it clearly states in my Ultimate Guide to Superman Book. Just because a punch from a being as powerful as Superman can hurt a bit doesn't mean Ki can too.

@UncannyRicardo Likely Cell emitted extra ki at the disc to stop it before it hit, this is likely since he was concerned about cutting himself in half from his own discs as he mentioned when he was fighting Goku and also we know the disc was able to Cut off brolys head easily and since Broly should at least be close to cells endurance if not past it by all rights close to the same thing should have happend to Cell unless he disrupted the attack.

I was referring to how Cell's DD failed to harm Gohan. You could argue that he wasen't touched by them but everyone else was shocked and yelled that that was impossible. Plus he did smash them together without much worry of being with them.

I mean from the scene it appears to be that that was exactly their intention to say that Cell surived that DD head on. Sure your theory is not impossible but it pretty much violates Occam's Razor. As for Bio Broly it's kinda wierd, we know he wasn't flesh like the orig but he kept solid form when hit or attacking again becouse his power and endurance is based mostly off ki like a invisible suit of armor almost.
