Working with many abused children, I do find that children didn't know it was bad. They feel bad, but thought it was a normal thing when abused, sexually and physically. They state homosexuals are at a higher risk of psychological harm, which I and any other liberal do agree with. kelsey....my conservative republican parents couldn't bring themselves to speak to me about sex. They were excellent loving parents but were intimidated by the thought of talking about sex. I'm hardly alone on this matter. I taught my children but had no problem having reinforcement at the Catholic school they attended k-8. I'm not too supportive of the "saving oneself" until marriage concept either. Write Obama and ask that question if you are so concerned.

It seems too often that people (conservative platform anyway) rely in the good intentions of parents to teach about sex. Clearly, not every parent does this, and while liberal platforms may not have proposed the best solution, THEY have been the only ones to do so.
I do wonder about the children whose Daddies tell them it's OK if he touches down there. If that's the kind of ignorance you want spread around...I can never agree.
