Whereas a Type R integra makes about the same and a GSR makes like 170 STOCK with a naturally aspirated 1.8 liter engine. A typical gsx usually always launches on its victim, its what gives him the advantage over most cars on the street. I myself own a 96 eclipse non turbo with a turbo setup at 10 psi and smoke tegs all day, but would probably lose more than likely to a supercharged teg. well lets see if it was a gsx its going to be turbocharged and have 210hp stock for that body style if its a 96-99 + its all-wheel drive so its going to have more torque on the road if it was trying to race then it would have picked up quicker. the gsr is super charged, but stock if its between the years 94-97 its going to have 170hp and its rear wheel. So, I want to see some figures of that supercharged gsr before I can propose that it was a race and the gsr truly one.
Actually the scoop is for cam gear clearance n reliability for a dsm is bad cuz previous owners dog em or the new drivers can't drive. I don't know what I just watched there, but it certainly wasn't a race. Who knows how fast your car is, but next time make sure the other guy is actually racing you before you chalk up a win.

@weareallone91 yeah but you put some dead cams in there and eliminate the vtec system and that 4cylinder would be the worst 4pot around, yeah hondas have high bhp but fuck all torque, and what you "honda kids" forget is that torque is what propels you forward, 170bhp stock maybe, but about 100ft lbs of torque, and even that its max power and max torque is made at the very end of the rev range, so you get maybe 1k revs where its at full power and torque, take any other 170 motor, torque=est 150

So all you honda haters know that An eclipse needs a turbo to barely break 200 hp right? Whereas a Type R integra makes about the same and a GSR makes like 170 STOCK with a naturally aspirated 1.8 liter engine. So if honda had decided to put turbos or superchargers in their cars, which obviously was unnecessary, DSMs wouldnt stand a chance. So suck it. Everybody wants to hate on Hondas Well they have the highest quality engines around FYI. Any other 4cyl that make 200hp without forced induction?

yes the gsx was on it if you listen to the clip closely at 11sec you can hear the wastegate of the gsx open so he was most definetly on it but no at the start it wasnt a fair race but that doesnt do the gsx justice because he was still getting pulled on even when he was on it if the race was 3 honks from a roll GSR>GSX maybe not by much but definetly

A. you started with a half a car length lead, B. That Eclipse was NOT racing you, C. your POS is NOT supercharged its probably a pos ls non v tec. D. I am married with 2 kids. I have a real family car. My GSX sits in the garage and is driven when I want to drive it. My daily driver is a Tahoe. So you shouldn't run your mouth unless you know what you are talking about.
Besides I spend all my time racing at the track not on the street endangering peoples lives like most of these punk ass kids. So don't pretend like you know what's going on cuz you don't.

A stock eclipse GSX has 210 Hp. Especially from a roll where that GSR is only turning two wheels.
On the flipside a GSX with simple bolt ons would eat that GSR for lunch. Supercharging is weak on a little motor like that. You want big power get a turbo and do it right.

Hmmm...Racing or not the gsx should have launched on you, which is why people are saying he wasnt racing. A typical gsx usually always launches on its victim, its what gives him the advantage over most cars on the street. I myself own a 96 eclipse non turbo with a turbo setup at 10 psi and smoke tegs all day, but would probably lose more than likely to a supercharged teg. Its just a matter of physics and tq...nice vid tho!

well lets see if it was a gsx its going to be turbocharged and have 210hp stock for that body style if its a 96-99 + its all-wheel drive so its going to have more torque on the road if it was trying to race then it would have picked up quicker. the gsr is super charged, but stock if its between the years 94-97 its going to have 170hp and its rear wheel. So, I want to see some figures of that supercharged gsr before I can propose that it was a race and the gsr truly one.

Actually the scoop is for cam gear clearance n reliability for a dsm is bad cuz previous owners dog em or the new drivers can't drive. Hondas do last but they aren't worth the hype u name it I beat it all motor supercharged and turboed. And I got excuses and I had some that was real cool. But I luv my dsm and ain't scared to say it

@purkata umm look at the interior of the gsr compared to dsm garbage and the exterior just look at the taillights, fake ass unneeded hoodscoop, it is such an uncomfortable car to drive. look at the reliability the gsr is way more fucking reliable than a dsm (crankwalk anyone). gsr is a NA car compared to a factory turbo of a dsm, and a mitsubishi sounds just as bad, if you want a decent sound out of an import go get a nissan. GET WORKED SON!!
