  • That's probably the best car paint video i've ever seen. It's great to see a real pro at work... Thanks for the insight into how it's supposed to be done.... Great work !!

  • How much would a shop charge for something like this, minus the graphic designs, just one solid color?

  • @KJamesSr Depends on who does it. I would estimate $3000-$5000 Depending on shop.

  • Absolutely gorgeous!

  • @VinnyMartello I appreciate that. Thank you

  • whats your method of painting the plastic bumpers and keeping the paint to stick? everytime ive painted plastic and even use adhesion promotor it always peels a few months later.

  • @killertctma I will need to do a vid on problem plastics. Thanks

  • amazing to watch, clear step by step video and brilliant, calm, friendly, concise instruction. Fantastic work.

  • @m0nk3ylak Go to tcpglobal . c o m They have Factory Pack kits for a good price.

  • I'm planning on painting my car in the garage within the next month. It is white now but I was wanting to repaint it Lexus Starfire Pearl. How difficult are the pearls to spray?

  • @87IROC350 Definitely not for the beginner. Once you get a good technique down then they are easier. Practice with it and you will succeed. Thanks

  • However your a very good at painting :)

  • ok long question? if i wanted to start painting cars, what equipment would I need? Whae you say "when it gets tac." does that mean when the sealer gets tacky then you can add another coat? Last question, where would you go to get the plastic liners to cover the car?so then, total for everything needed.,starting from nothing.,equipment, paint, tape, coveralls, fans, plastic covering, sand paper,etc.,etc.

  • @cHriSp33Chr3aMdr3aM Yes on the tacky, Depends on what you buy. Could cost $1000 to $10000

  • how much money did u spend on this paint job??????? great painting!!

  • @bandito00000 Thanks, It was awhile ago sorry I can't remember.

  • Great video block!! car looks awesome! I will send some pics of our new paint job when it's done.

  • @ScottysDetailing right-on....

  • great video how long did your car take to do start to finish

  • Do you use sealer before your base? if so what brand?

    Thanks.

  • @rac437639 It all depends on what I'm doing. Any brand 2 part sealer will work. I am using Standox in the video. Thanks

  • i like your front bumper

  • if you are painting a car that has prime base and clear, how far do you need to sand?

  • @playingwithfirehurts Enough to create a even scratch for the paint to stick.

  • Do you have to take off the bumpers or can you paint them while they are on the car?

  • @FiveCentTaco either way. Taking off the bumpers is the correct way. If you don't really care about the car then leave them on. All up to you . Thanks for watching

  • @mcqueenpaint Thank you

  • Great finished product bro.. Props to u.. Pin stripes set off the multiple tones

  • Cheers mate. Your a legend!

  • Hey mate. Do you need to sand after priming ,also what about between base coats? Thanks again mate

  • @crimbo333z Yes, after priming you need to sand before you base(finish sanding with 600grit). You can wet sand a dirt nib out of base coat with 600-1200grit paper then re-base. You do not need to sand between base coats. Thanks

  • best DIY step by step paint your car set of videos on you tube, you have answered lots of my questions, and i will subscribe. please keep the info free, a lot of guys out there are trying to sell you info :(

looking forward to more videos, thanks a million.

  • amazing!!! good job, I learned a LOT watching your videos... keep up the good work

  • amazing videos, thank you for share your pro knowledge with us

  • This has got to be the very best set of how to vids that I have seen. Your simple explanation and showing how to in each step leaves very little room for error. Congrats. One video I would like you to make is to show and explain the different type of coats applied. I keep hearing about light coats, medium wet coats, heavy wet coats but no one has ever shown what they look like. This would go a long way to teach new painters like myself. Again, thanks for the great videos !!

  • @PRACERZ Thank you, I will do that video in the near future. Thanks for watching

  • finished? will not upload more videos

  • @tadeuganzella I will keep doing videos. Just not of this car. Thanks and keep watching for future videos
