  • Amazing!!!! The plane seems to be moving very slowly as well! That looks very frightening. That's testament to the engineering and piloting involved. Amazing.

  • HELL NO!

  • im suprised it didnt crash that was impressive

  • at :48 , just in front of the nose, there's a white ball in the distance, is it a ufo ?

  • @Scoopy4444 It's another plane.

  • @trevorskates94 why it's overing then ? look at his position with clouds, it doesn't moove : )

  • great engine power, good areodynamics, great respond time to maneuvaring.. love it, i sure would love to fly in one.

  • WOW - for such a big aircraft she sure can move!

  • i so want to be on this particular flight ;O

  • What I'm wondering is this: exactly how much of the runway's length did the pilot use to get airborn, cuz from the video it didn't look like much. That was too cool. I don't care who designed this plane it's a testement to human enginuity.

  • dont u mean turning left tight....

  • Is just me, or am I really hearing a song from Apollo 13 at around 0:52?

  • You can do that to the 380 with Rolls Royce engines - bet you can't with the American engines.

  • Who cares we could blow the shit out of your country. Plus if you like tennis your opinion doesn't matter.

  • thats never going to happen so shut up. I don't know if you're forgetting but you are most likely from British descent so just be quiet

  • That was awesome!!!

  • amazing

  • my entire school fits in there

  • I just cry everytime i watch this stuff ... cuz i love it so much ;/ Dont think im psycho ... but i love'em

  • no sorry i think your absolutely insane =)

    just kidding

  • no you are not a complete pscho at all i love them too! Evrytime i see one landing into sydney airport i stop whatever im doing at lookat the a380. Best planes ever! :)

  • ahh, just another day at John Wayne Airport!

the A380 is quite a lovely liner: sophisticated construction, ridiculous lift (but if they can jam 700 people onto it, you just know they will)

  • The plane without load and passengers can do acrobatic maneuvers without suffering structural damage

  • It was at an air show and was flown as a demo maneuver. Many "risky" stunts are performed at air shows world wide. I'm not sure what politics or passanger deaths have to do with anything...

  • I was commenting the stunt that comments above quasi-unanimously imagine and praise. Those praises are so ridiculous (when you *really* know the A380) that they can *only* be explained by the political agenda I denounced (of which the lynching of me is part).

The take-off actually shown on the video would be quite normal from any transport plane in an air show, and just recalls that A380 is (duly and normally for such size) *less* swift than average.

  • how does it not stall???

i dont understand how this beast doesnt stall or suffer structural damage from over stress on this maneuver.?

and please, dont tell me that its beacause its passenger-less and light on fuel....i know that.

  • @ticoman90 The A380 is designed to take to loads they are flying the aircraft at.

  • Impressive. She's obviously light and sounds like a TO into a stiff wind. But, a very light 747 will do the same thing, and an empty 757 will really put on a show!

  • HOLY COW!

  • im pretty sure i can here music from Apollo 13 in the background

  • That's crazy.. it doesn't even look real!

  • Near the end did anyone else hear the music playing? Almost sounded like the score from the movie Apollo 13 where they are preparing for the launch...

  • holy shit she leapt in to the air! she might be ugly, but always impressive!

  • That was really bad ass! Do it again, lol

  • Do airliners have Vx and Vy speeds?

  • Can that happen or be used in normal passenger operations?

  • big deal, any airplane can do that.

  • Not a massive plane like that though, thats amazing, some small 2 seater planes would stall if they did that

  • @tehabc not that hard with those 4 enormous engines

  • @tehabc - You do realize that plane had minimum weight, right? There were no passengers and cargo so I'm sure any plane could do that with no passengers.

  • WTF can someone explain to me how the fuck the plane did not stall at that angle??

  • Put it this way, it has no passengers, no cargo, hardly any fuel so with the power of those engines its hardly surprising it was able to do that.

  • Yeah that makes sense dude

  • Add that A380 got the best civilian airplane design.

Even with airshow conditions, try to climb at 30-35° just out the runaway and see what's happen.

Also A380 got an active anti-stall system who control flaps and avionics if needed.

  • wow , soo beautiful

  • Its a turn to the left not right!!!!!!

  • it had to have been a way windy day for it to do that! Thats crazy!!

  • its in the paris airshow, i was there :)

  • that was steeeeeep!!!

    Nice...

  • then they are gonna have to eat on this airport :P but its fake

  • That was NOT fake!! It was at an airshow an was on the news, i remember it!!

  • what if it STALL

  • Only time you can do that with an aircraft is when it's empty.

  • Just a bit of thrust involved there.

  • Wow! It's like a ballet! Amazing!

  • wow... the a380 is amazing for acrobatics. it has a lot of ailerons! usulay they are just on the outer section of the wing... by the looks of this video, they run the length of the entire wing!

  • They're flaps!

  • no, flaps go down below the wing.

  • you have to be either a great pilot or crazy to do this :D

  • The A380 is an amazing aircraft and this manoeuvre is particularly impressive. I saw the A380 do this at Farnborough 2008 (turning right) at the end of the Runway and it is one hell of a sight. How something so massive can fly so beautifully is a testament to its design and a credit to Airbus.

  • Impressive!

  • ummm it turned left

  • cant**

  • i can run faster than that thing, why can i fly!!

  • I remember this, I was there !

  • Try that with full PAX, and Fuel for a trasatlantic flight....Then I believe how good the 380 is...

  • well the damn thing can carry 800 people and fly for 14 hours. Unload all those people, their bags, and carry only 30 minutes of fuel, there you have a power house that can do anything, probably even a barral roll!

  • yea tht thing is SO elegent. and man! you HAVE to see its cockpit. its DAMN impressive.

  • Wow..

And from the cockpit: beep beep beep stall stall stall..

  • Jesus, that can get off the ground.

  • turning left tight... u mean

  • Awesome mate. That is one powerful beast :D

  • the a380 took off so shortly .

  • Holly Shit!!! That was awesome!!

  • i though big dombo was about to stall and hit the ground

  • Read the title is a Air Show. And the plane goes empty, no passengers and low fuel.

  • Whoa! Incredibly maneuverable for a big slug.

  • i didnt think a a380 could do that

  • i would just cimmit cuicide!!! lol

  • i would DIE if i'd have to be on that plane and it would take off like that XD

  • would really suck to be a passenger during that!

  • great shot
