  • The problem with most Americans like u chet is u beleive everything ur controled main strean media tells u.it s called propaganda. The Americans learned it from Hitler btw and perfectioned it.The reason why we went to war in Iraq was weapons of mass destruction.how many wmd were found?they build up the propaganda so that people like u r convinced that they hate us and want to destroy us and justify the U.S. of attacking and occupying other countries illegally.

  • do u really think 9/11 was organised by a few guys in a cave?who ever beleives this should get serios medical help!

  • The world is a safer place BECAUSE of the United States of America. To believe that removing policemen would make something more secure is naive. The US is the global policeman, not by choice but by necessity. If the US simply pulled out of everywhere, you would have World War 3 before the end of the year. Ron Paul does not understand this. He believes that nobody would dare attack somebody else unprovoked....That's exactly how the first two Word Wars were started.

  • @chetcougar The global policing is what incites people to attack us.. how do you not see this?

  • @ludogogo Then please explain why there were attacks BEFORE the Iraq wars? Fanatical muslims hate America. Not because of where our troops are located. They hate what we represent. They hate the core of our consitution. They hate who we are. And it is openly taught that they should fight America until every last American is dead. It has nothing to do with where our troops are located. It has EVERYTHING to do with who you are and what you believe.

  • @chetcougar Hmm I don't know, maybe because we have had our hands in that region for the past 60 years? We "allocated" Muslim land to relocate the Israelites and we funded and supported coups in Iran and Egypt; we've consistently meddled with middle eastern affairs and exerted our imperialistic influence ever since the end of WWII. Again it is naive to believe that they attack us because of our freedom; read some books on the subject and you will understand this.

  • @ludogogo And why do you think that these people attack us? We are preventing them from exerting dominion over somebody unable to defend themselves. If the US was not there to intervene thousands of people would be killed, the only difference would be that you wouldn't read about it in the news.

  • @chetcougar So why are we picking and choosing? Why don't we help the people of Sudan? Or why don't we help the people of Burma? If we are going to police the world, why don't we actually do it? You think we went in there to help those people? You are quite naive if you think so. The US did intervene and even more thousands (collectively millions) of people have died, including Americans. We don't have the money to be nation-building when our country so desperately needs it right now.

  • @chetcougar

I'm sure every Palastinen agrees to your comment...NOT!

Please get educated before making stupid comments, the people that fight occupiers aren't the terrorists, the occupiers are.

  • If the US just stopped "mingling in other countries" do you honestly believe that all global crime would cease? Do you really think that people wouldn't attack the US? Ron Paul would have the US stick their head in the sand and pretend that there are no issues outside of the US, or at least turn a blind eye to the problems outside our country. Pretending that a problem doesn't exist is not the solution to this problem. Say what you want, but the bottom line is...

  • @chetcougar And spending money that we don't have to blow people up is also not solving the problem... in fact, it makes it much worse.

  • Once the U.S. stops mingling in other countrys by replacing their leaders through coups and assassination the U.S.would be a much safer place. Also the limtless support for our "allies"Israel is also a reason for anger. How many Israeli soldiers have died fighting side by side American soldiers in Iraq or Afghanistan?I think Ron Paul is the only honest man running for president.

  • crankiest thumbnail ever

  • Ron Paul makes alot of sense but I think he's age is a huge factor why he wont win. But hes the godfather of lberty.

  • Norway for Ron Paul President 2012 !

  • You can't leave fighting Terrorism to the States. The CIA and Department of Defense must be governed by something? If you don't want to create federal laws that give those departments guidence on how to prosecute, how in the world does he plan to protect US citizens. Look at his answer at 2:10 . He flat out says he does not believe we need federal level laws to fight domestic terrorism. The man clearly does not understand the issues.

  • @chetcougar I don't see how people don't understand that. I respect Ron Paul immensely, I don't agree with much of what he says but the man is consistent and doesn't seem to be bought off. However, it's obvious that his "leave everything to the states" philosophy is childish. I assume he would have us revert to the pre-FBI days when one could commit a crime in one state then move to another without fear of prosecution. Dr. Paul, we've tried it your way, it didn't work!

  • @chetcougar It would be nice if the American people(most)would wake up 1 day and understand why the terrorist attacks on the U.S. were commited in the first place. It s only because of American foreign policy!Once the U.S stops mingling in other countrys affairs by supporting, financing and downright provoking military coups in other countrys by taking away a democraticly elected govt.and replacing it with a dictator puppet sympathetic to America.

  • @ilcapo7474 I respectfully disagree. You are effectively saying "leave everyone alone and they will leave you alone." I have two issues with that. First, that statement is false. The first two world wars were started due to unprovoked attacks by Germany. People in power want more power, and if there is nothing to deterr them, well they take it by force. Second, the US protects people that are not able to protect themselves. Like it or not the world must have a policeman.

  • @chetcougar The people that we are "protecting" hate us... and our global policing incites them to attack us... what we are doing is not effective.

  • @ilcapo7474 If you truly believe this then there really isn't much I can do for you. Go learn a little more about other people. Many factions of the muslim religion openly preach that there sole mission is to erradicate the western civilization, and democracy. They see it as an abomination. It has very little to do with where our troops are located. If we simply pulled out, we would have an event similar to 9/11 every month. Not all muslims believe this, but the fanatics do.

  • @chetcougar Why can't you leave fighting terrorism to the states? Give me one good reason.

  • @ludogogo Easy answer... information. The only way to coordinate and effectively share information needed to combat domestic terrorism is to have all of the information go to one central place. That is the only way to collect the dots. Otherwise you have a piece of information in New York, and a piece of information in LA, alone these bits of information mean nothing, but together they form a credible lead.

A second reason would be prosecution.

  • @chetcougar There is a difference between a centralized police force and a centralized policing information system. You can create national standards and share information without having a central police force.

  • @ludogogo That system does not function. It is a tried and failed system. Please tell me how you plan on having centralized policing information without a police force? Who manages the information? Every State would look at the other State and say "I thought that you were doing it". It flat out does not work. That is the reason our founding fathers created the State and Federal Governments. Also, protecting the citizens is one of two jobs given explicitly to the Fed Govt.

  • @chetcougar Tried and failed; when, specifically? You achieve a centralized information system (regarding policing standards) by having states come together with their own information, sharing, debating and coming to a collective agreement. You can manage the information with a small and limited staff; you DO NOT NEED a central POLICE FORCE to achieve this. Our founding fathers intended the creation of the central government for the very purpose that I mentioned, NOT the other way around.

  • @chetcougar Yes the Federal government protects the citizens through fighting necessary wars and protecting the border. When the Federal government starts to infringe on the very rights that they are trying to protect, there is a massive issue. You sit there and say it won't work but I want you to show me historical examples of that system failing. When our founding fathers created this country they were trying to get away from big government (Monarchy), how could you say otherwise?

  • @ludogogo You can't have 50 different standards by which to prosecute suspected terrorists. Every State would want to do it their way, and pass their own laws. It is simply a function that requires centralization to be effective.

  • @chetcougar Like I said... a national standard is different from a national police force.

  • listening to Ron Paul, is a lot like listening to some drunk in a bar rambling on and on about government conspiracy theories and the evil's of the internet... How on earth does he have followers? unless they are all raiders fans, then I understand.

  • Truthful and moral

  • I feel more safe around a doctor- than a politician...doctors save hearts of people, politicians don't.

  • @MrManboobie Doctors also kill more people than politicians....just sayin.

  • We Can See Who Cares About Terrorism- Ron Paul Would nip it in the bud!!!

The Neocons just want to Make Fear (terror alerts lol)- Though Nobody is Buying the bullshit.

  • Globalism is Not Close to world competition- Globalism is Corporate Unionism and compete over slaves...and Exploit American Money- In which money does not return.

Free trade is NOT Hiring (Outside Countries) to make (American Products)- To sell BACK (America)...

    That Exploits All.

  • What a bumbling idiot. Have you ever heard a person say less while talking for 15 minutes? He may have some good ideas, but he has absolutely no idea how to make them work. He says things that sound great but are not feasible. I could say I want everyone to win the lottery tomorrow. That would be great right? Everyone has money, no poor. Problem is, if you follow that logic to the next step it doesn't work. Who pays all that money in? What to do when a loaf of bread costs $1M?

  • @chetcougar I don't think you've researched him enough, then. Keep researching, he truly is an honest guy with a legitimate plan. The lone fact that he actually cares sets him far ahead of the rest.

  • @jdw3443 I appreciate your intelligent response. Unfortunately, Ron Paul could never be the leader of the free world. He does not posess the intestinal fortitude necessary to make the difficult decisions which define a US President. The mere fact that he has difficulty understanding that 9/11 was a terrorist act, and that one of the primary functions of the federal government is to enact laws to protect it's people shows me that this man is very narrow minded.

  • @chetcougar He clearly said it was a terrorist act. He just understands WHY terrorism was commited in your country, whereas the others are clueless and believe that no matter how many wars America starts, no matter how many thousands of innocent civilians the American military kills, it's all okay because you are the "land of opportunity and freedom for all" That's a good one!

  • @jdw3443 Look closely at his responses when pressed on laws to fight terrorism. The panel was genuinely in shock at Paul's lack of understanding on this issue. As I said, Paul has some great ideas, but you can't elect a president who can only comprehend half of the issues on the table.

  • @SuperBlahBlahBlah121 Health care is a worthy expense that everyone benefits from, war is not.

  • Whatt, dumb bitch!!! righttt when Dr. Paul is getting to the root of why terrorism is coming to us. Which is our dedication to being a world police , she cuts him off. wtf

  • Different topic? What the hell? By the way, if you think he is behind in polls you are stupidified by the media!!!! The media is in control of the polls trying to force public opinion that he is behind to make u think your vote is wasted voting for him!!! So Untrue and zionist!!!

  • The Republicans should nominate him. They have nothing to lose, and at least Ron Paul would bring the troops home so we could start getting out of debt.

  • Man, they tried to lead the question at the end, to get Ron Paul to say every American should read the bible.

  • Listen to the TONE which the commentators take with Ron Paul. Then listen to how they talk to Michelle Bachman. They are comforting, in agreement, coaching, and guiding Michelle like they were scripted and she was trailing off. They are abrasive towards Ron Paul, somewhat hostile.

  • Ron Paul FTW. I don't care if he has 2 first names... He's my hero!!! :D

  • Nice!! "And none (sovernty) for the U.N." Very good answer.

  • Just like doctors who treat the symptoms, these people want to try to make us feel safer by keeping their eyes on us, adding rules and making a police state.

  • I like how Ron Paul's video has more likes than dislikes compared to the other candidates. Must be the fact that Dr. Paul knows what he is talking about.

  • @Amish234 I didn't know how to vote on the others: I am gratefull the videos are available to watch (thumbs up), but I don't like the words they are speaking (thumbs down).

  • @Mkmcgee keep believing the War mongers!!!

  • I respect Ron Paul for having been an elected representative of his district numerous times. With due respect noted, it's amazing that with his wacko views on American isolationism, international affairs, terrorism, Israel, and the Patriot Act that he has any credibility on any subject. His wimpy demeanor and policies would guarantee aggression against the US and it's allies within the first month of his presidency. No thanks. We've had a wimpy Carter and an apologist Obama. Strength = Peace.

  • @mkmcgee78 By strength you mean neocon cowboy ignorance, I presume? No thanks! LOL

  • @mkmcgee78 Dr. Paul does not promote isolationism. He calls for open trade with all nations (Iran, Cuba,) and using diplomacy to avoid conflict. Your reference to isolationism is his much needed non-intervention stance. Your points on international affairs, and terror. Current entanglements (Israel as a prime example) come with a price well above the benefit. Finally: Strength = peace = Cuban missile crises, cold war, 4 wars we have lost, lose nukes in Russia....need I go on.

  • The only argument anyone has for Ron Paul not being electable is because he is too old, or rather not a typical American in that he knows why the world hates America and why war is wrong.

Vote for Ron Paul, it's your last chance for actual freedom and not Zionist controlled freedom.

  • We can be very safe from attacks with conventional intelligence gathering and policing techniques without the TSA raping people, government agencies wire taping or strangling our freedom of speech. Any body who advocates such things is putting us on the road to fascism.

  • statiscally you have a better chance of being killed by a snake bite or by lightning then you ever do of being in a terroist attack

  • In the past people like this have become Monarchs. Sorry for my english :D

  • Obama is such a disgrace. As bad as Bush was, at least he had dignity such that he didn't openly push partisan demagoguery at the people. Not only is Obama doing so, but it's for no other reason than to cover his own incompetence. A president is supposed to be above all that, or at *least* act the part, to be concerned for the freedom and values of *all* the people. Obama has brought us one step closer to the politics of third-world democracies where bribes and beatings determine the votes.

  • Ugh, a missed opportunity, down with the 14th, 16th :-(

  • The man is ALMOST incoherent. Bless his heart...

  • As a physician Ron Paul understands: You don't treat the sympthoms of a disease, you find the cause of it and then you find a cure. The same goes for terrorism.

  • King Midus touched Ron Paul once: nothing changed!

    RON PAUL 2012!

  • Dr. Paul is our only hope. He WILL change our nation, just as I WILL. AMERICAN $ is destroying cultures throughout the world without OUR CONSENT. Libya HAD the highest development indicators in Africa. No employment. High life expectancy & rate of education. High standard of living. BUT.. they made the mistake of providing the US with 60% of the diesel fuel we use. So why pay... when a little "humanitarian effort" can mean FREE diesel? Its WRONG. Dr. Paul doesn't make sense, he makes DOLLARS.

  • I'd rather live with dangerous freedom than controlled security like a dog in the pound.

  • @p7byrd Don;t worry he'll leave us with Rand Paul.

  • @p7byrd : he is too young,.. I wish he had a few more years to explain us shit,.. but we don't have time,.. so we are stuck with a younger Ron Paul.Dude has fastest brains in the west,.. I actually started respecting America because of Ron Paul.
