I personally am choosing Champions over DC simply because it has more features even after doing everything that DC does. The only arguments for DC is the IP and graphics which don't impress me as much as game play.
Maybe an IP will make that much of a difference and DC will make money, but like I said I prefer gameplay and features over IP and graphics. I personally predict the curse that SOE has with mmos and the fact that its pushing an established IP will be its eventual downfall.
Wow, I can understand enjoying a video game because you're a fan of the IP, in fact I played galaxies for that very reason and tried The Matrix online for the same. But you would need to be seriously deluded to believe they're the best MMO's ever created.
I know for a fact that the community hates SOE for destroying the sandbox style of galaxies, and that the Matrix was a failure from the get go which is why SOE bought it. In fact SOE has just been a series of failure ever since they ruined EQ1

There are other ways that you can move, you choose if you want to run heroicly(like that one), run like normal, run on all four, walk like a robot, etc.
I don't find that to be so bad. This does look like CoH...but on crack. With even more customization and the kind of variety in environments and enemies that I wished CoH had.

Sounds like they're doing a good job at "staying true" to the Champions RPG by making everything customizable 150% rather than having "character classes" and such. I played the RPG for at least ten years with the same GM before HERO games started "going under" (weep.) and loved it so much that I never again went back to playing any RPG system other than HERO since then!
dc online is better as far as action gameplay when you press the button it response's with an action...not sec's after....no time meter's. But this looks like an interesting game also.
That character and his powers looked awesome. What were they by the way, I'm guessing some sort of darkness?
