How come every time I try to play a chord, there is thing little 'click' sound that I hear? Is it cuz one of my fingers is touching a string that is supposed to just be open? Well how do I prevent that? I swear if I could solve this problem, all my other issues would be solved. Like... when trying to play a chrod, my fingers start hurting so bad from holding the strings down so long that I actually tear up... ughh !!

My Guitar teacher said that the D is 1st finger 2nd fret 3rd string. middle finger on 2nd fret 1st string.then the ring finger is on 3rd fret 3rd string

@-xiongkou559 then you need to stay on you finger tips when u press down dont give up ull get the hang of it. Whats happening is ur not staying on ur finger tips when u play so ur muting the rest of the strings so when u strum all the way it plucks

My fingers doesn't seem to be in the right place. It too fat or something. It keeps touching other strings. Makes it sound bad.

@xiongkou559 Trust me, I thought the same thing. It takes practice, but you can get it. Whenever I have had that happen, I go string by string to find out where the problem is, and then fix it. After it's fixed, strum a few times so you can feel how your fingers need to be when you're making the strings ring clear.

It'll depend on the guitar though I mean I could say whoop just bought a standard acoustic but it wouldn't sound anything like the one say slash has... Plus you gotta press down real hard so it doesn't come out weak and distorted.. Keep practicing.. Try 4 strums on each.

I usually use a ''full G chord'' by placing my ring finger on the 2nd string (B string) and my pinkie on the 1st string (low E string)... it sounds well, more ''fully'' xD
