I can't stand it because in America, they treat FGTH like a lost one hit wonder band. Because in America, their only true hit was "Relax" in America. But they had so many other great, classic songs! For the short time they were together as a band.
Cracking bass lines.. Mark O'Toole didnt get enough credit. The bass in most of FGTH songs is the real heart of the song. Ahead of its time really.. why it still sounds good.
Remember listening to PleasureDome lying on my bed around October '84 when the album was released. This sounded amazing at the time and still stands up well today
just love that keyboad bit in the middle of the song. A very way before its time this track. Is why ot sounds so fantastic today. they really should make a come back and do a new album.
one of the most underated bands of the 80´s , althought they ahavent made an extense work, the few they did was awesome, this welcome to the pleasuredome is true classic.
Perfekte Show. Paul in Topform.
I was one of those metalhead punk kids who would beat down the other kids who listened to stuff like this... now being older and wiser, I love this song
I got to see Frakie Goes to Hollywood back in 1984 at Red Rocks in Colorado. Amazing concert and one I have always remembered and smile about. Good stuff.
he is so great live ....i know why he is lip sync'in , but for freak sake!! how many AWESOME variations of tone ,harmonics and pure power he has to offer? i've heard many mp3 bootlegs where I just wish for a sound board recording. ONE OF THE MOST POWERFUL VOICES EVER.
PRODYPARROT..YOUR A GENIOUS..YOU,VE PUT SOME GOOD VIDS OF FRANKIE ON HERE....THANKS FOR SHARING.glad to say i actually saw them LIVE twice.84 and 86 in Manchester (uk).
i love how he sings, dances and dresses. they r just phenomenol
