  • notice how m rated nintendo console exclusives are always superior to the other console's?

  • hey its better than here in australia

  • parents really are misinformed.

yesterday my mom told me if i didint go outside I'd fet a disease called scurvy.

Ilokked it up,Its a disease you get when you dont eat enough fruit

wow,What does THAT tell me about my mom?

  • your baked.

  • You seem so familiar lmao. A couple of days ago I walked in this store to try and pre-order bulletstorm and the dude said no because I was underaged. lol was that you?

  • I think that people who know the difference between a virtual world and the real world, can play whatever the fuck they want!

  • I'm sorry but is Wiilover(?) actually honest in his belief that the feds could regulate games in any effective way that won't cost way too much and in the end be used as an excuse by any hack politician to try to ban all violent games?

Could the system be better and more effective? Of course, but it would be folly to think that the government could be that answer because the minute you give them that inch they will take a mile and so forth.

  • nintendo....No More Heroes 2 10 months later KIRBY EPIC YARN nintendo evens it out

  • @nintendo316 the state of California is awesome but most of the people who live there suck.suck.

  • Dead beat parents and dumb ass kids who copy this crap. Are the one to blame for the violent video game law.

  • Before I watched this video i would have agreed with Wiilover, but since watching this video I agree with The Truth.

  • Is isn't the videogame industry's fault if parents buy games for that their idiot children are too young to play.

Man, it's like Jack Thompson all over again. They're fighting a battle that they will never win.

  • But, Rap music promotes violence more than video games. lol

  • GTA is trash.

In my opinion, I agree with Wiilover. There is no reason for the Gov. to step in. It's the parents that are needed to.

  • i aggree with truth.....parents should know better. but violent games are used as an excuse to shut there kids up rather than to properly disipline them. thats why there are so many rude overopinionated 12-18 year olds on youtube, talking about how many people they maimed and how hardcore they are! idiots!!

  • “To live is the rarest thing in the world. Most people exist, that is all.

  • i blame parents

  • Parents need to start researching products. Being that realistic violence in videogames is no longer a brand new thing, I can see the nativity reducing itself naturally over time.

I highly doubt the government could do a better job regulating that the industry is already doing for itself. There's a few quirks here and there, such as the vast difference between even Halo and GTA, but it's far from bad. Plus, children mature at different rates, and using age is arbitrary.

  • @neverchris I fear that increasing regulation would eventually begin stunting creativity. Not necessarily with your GTA titles, but more like your Personas and Resident Evils. Parents need to be more heavily educated and I think the key point is that as a society, we need to start shunning and shaming parents who refuse to self-educate, rather than the direction society is currently going in, where we're all afraid to judge.

  • @neverchris Is persona a good game.

  • @neverchris OMG It's neverchris! =0

  • acutally splinter cell is now a M rated game, I believe starting with chaos theory the franchise became M rated.

  • I agree with WL07, it's all about the parents teaching their kids the difference between reality and fiction. Like WL07, I grew up playing MK, RE, Etc. Watching stuff like DB and whatnot, and never have I had the desire to randomly deck someone in the face. Have you heard the story about the 12 year old kid who played a shiton of violent games? They took him, taught him how to shoot a real gun, and when he did he was scared shitless, prooving that video games causing violent behavior is BS.

  • If they ban violent videogames, they should ban Star Wars and Huck Finn. Go read the first three chapters of Huckleberry Finn (1885) and tell me with a straight face that videogames are the reason kids are violent.

And don't get me started on artistic vision in videogames, like Heavy Rain, Mass Effect (and anything else made by Bioware), Shadow Of Colossus.

I blame parents. I played Unreal & Fallout at the age of two. Two years old!!! Know what my father said? "It isn't real", hundreds of times
