While in all reality, corporal punishment done by parents will probably not change, corporal punishment in schools is on the decline. New Mexico has just banned corporal punishment! So now its 31 states that ban it and hopefully more states will follow. Those people who are in favor of CP are really losing badly!
You say there is a difference between corporal punishment & abuse. Precisely where do you draw the line? I worked in an hospital casualty unit & saw the results of corporal punishment. I never had to hit my kids. Parents who do are failures as parents & bullies as people. Prisons are full of people who were hit as children. Maybe you think they weren't beaten enough?!!
since you are for this, if you ever have children i am gonna come to your house and paddle your kid and i will just tell you that you think it is a good method
