That sounds really nice, I was looking for sports exhaust options for my 996 as it's not a daily driver, but the sports exhaust I have seen are either too much like stock or the bypass pipes which are way too loud. Was this the switchable system?

its the flat 6 engine dude. plain n simple. it cant be anything else. i mean think about it, how many other cars use flat engines? i can hardly think of any new ones anyway. subaru hav a flat 4 not flat 6, testerosa is old but it uses flat 12, arent many others, n none are flat 6.

For everyones info.... the 996 Carrera 4s came standard with turbo bumpers, wheels, suspension, brakes and trip computer but interestingly has no more power than a regular carrera 2 or 4. The reflective strip between rear lights is unique to the 4s the turbo does not have this strip.

I have one of these but its in silver and a convirtable (manual) :0) from the rear - one of the nicest 911's there is.... Nice... Bo)

Ah well noticed! they are so good! i had them done so that they fit perfectly behind the rear seats. i.e. I still have fully functioning rear seats! :) I didnt think that they were going to fit. I dont think anyone in the country has subs of that size in their 911 without compromising their seats! :)

pre PRSE turbo sounds much much better, but having listened to both turbo and the c4s with pse sports exhuast, the c4s pse actually sounds better than the turbo in my opinion.

the original PSE is the single best upgrade for this car in my opinion. makes it a whole new car, i took a brand new 997 without PSE for a spin the other day and it felt like half a porsche without the sound and the feel of power associated withthe sound....

Hey, i've got this on my 997, its about £1300 when i got mine last year, it has an on of button, and the exhaust pipes on the outside are slighty bigger than the two on the inside.

Sounds best at 3500rpm!

the insist on installing the switch as it is another 3 hours labout at £130 per hour so they make an extra £500 out of you this way! i didnt want a switch but they insist that it comes as a package! the upgrade seems to vary at all dealerships, i think it was about £1500 when i got it, inclusive of VAT.

I have it on my 911 C4S Cab but I got it done at the dealership so there's no switch for on/off, it's always on and that's the way it should be. It sounds unbelievable through tunnels and definitely turns heads.
