If a CSIS agent showed up at my door i'd invite them in and offer them tea or coffee. They're just doing their job and they'll get their information one way or another eventually; so why not just be polite?
@tucsondog I second that, they are doing their jobs and their jobs that involve national security therefore, working with them would be in the best interests of Canada and other parts of the world.
Activists should open up more facebook and myspace accounts. That way CSIS doesn't have to waste their time knocking on doors. Seriously though, with all the new social media sites out there why do people feel that it's still productive to hold signs in front of meetings where their message is falling on blind eyes and deaf ears? We would definitely avoid wasting so much money and resources trying to protect the fragile leaders from scary activists and maybe use it feed starving babies.
CSIS is awesome. They warned the US about 9/11, but the US didn't listen. I'm so proud of our Canadian intelligence agency, they are world class and they are doing a great job!! I know I sleep better at night knowing these guys and gals are out there getting er done.
Protesting will achieve nothing anyway... camp out on Zbignew's lawn - two month all-day rave... Music-fuck the asshole out of his mand Waco-style and bring some homemade hooch. Leave his lawn looking like a gypsy wake. : D
Also, if you have enough balls, bring a gas mask, sound proof ear muffs, some kind of homemade shield. Get together with a group who has the same equipment and make like the Spartans to form a phalanx. Fight fire with fire. Block the cops from moving forward against the protesters.
@T0X0Plasmosis There would be no need for security if it wasn't for people like you trying to start riots. Go protest, but there is no need to bring gas masks, ear plugs and shields, if you're not a shit disturber looking to ruin our beautiful Toronto.
Protesters that cause shit, should get their asses beat. If you're not causing shit, you have nothing to worry about.
@Bundashit You're naive. Do you really think protesting by just walking around will achieve anything? The cops don't need an excuse to break up protests, they do it even if the protesters are peaceful.
It's sad that activists and protesters still think they have rights and there are certain things the state isn't allowed to do to them. The state can, will and does do whatever the fuck they want. You can be sure that if you show up at a G20 protest your picture, name and information will be recorded and you might be blacklisted. If you go, be sure to wear a mask, don't give out your name, don't carry any kind of ID and wrap your cellphone in tinfoil to block the GPS signals.
I am fed up with the fucking csis and their fucking bullshit
