Actually... go take a look at the Orph EP, and their first album. This is what their first album, Leitmotif,  pretty much sounded like. This is old, original, dredg. They changed into "soft rock" when they released their second album El Cielo. No, when they released their ablum Catch Without Arms, which was their third one.

Yeah, Dredg is awesome. Totally underrated. In my opinion "Leitmotif" is the best rock cd of the 90's.
